i have a gut feeling story but it’s not scary. so i got boots that didn’t fit me, so i went to the store to return them, but i also bought other items. after we left there, we went to a fast food place. while my dad was ordering, my mom and i were in the car, my mom had a gut feeling that said “check the receipt, check the receipt” so she did and looked at it closely. she had just found out that the girl who checked out her items, charged her for the returned shoes. when my dad came back, my mom told him about the shoes and we went back. it was a win win because the girl was extremely nice and gave my mom her money back and something else ( i don’t remember what it was ) because she couldn’t take the money away. everything turned out great in the end :)

Now, crazy gut feeling story. My parents are divorced since I was very young. I ALWAYS told my dad: "I'll have a little brother" - he even builded a house with his now wife and I DEMANDED a bedroom for my little brother and he, just for my sake, made my little brother a room. 13 years later (I was 17) his wife got pregnant, with a boy. Dad said he would be born in May, I had a gut feeling the 29th... at 4am on the 29th of May (I live from across the globe from him, in my home country it was still the 28th) I woke up suddenly and a minute later I recieved a message: your little brother was born.

The best way I can describe a gut feeling: It's a sort of sinking or bubbly feeling depending on what the outcome would be. My gut has never led me wrong with my decisions. An example: During this quarantine, multiple times, I couldn't be in my house because someone at my mom's job git Covid-19, but I was never worried since my gut told me it would be fine (Bubbly feeling), and I was proven right each time since she has never caught it. Another example: My grandma was worried for her brother, after finding out my mom tested negative for the 5th time, and asked me what my gut said about her brother after I said I knew mom would be okay thanks to my gut. It sank to hell and beyond. My gut screamed at me that something was wrong but I refused to believe it. My uncle ended up having stage 3 cancer. While visiting him, my gut yelled at me to tell him I adored him and that he made me happy with our shared memories. It was like an invisible force beckoning me, as my gut told me it was my only chance. I told him I cared a lot about him and that I love him, not even an hour later while my mom and I were heading back home, she got a call. He died shortly after we left.

Something like that happened to me. My great aunt had pancreatic cancer, and I had come back from a competition. I had gotten flowers there, and when we were visiting she was very ill. Something told me to give her the flowers, I’ll have more competitions later on. 2 weeks later we had heard she passed away.

I had a gut feeling one time during school. It was high school and I was at my locker during passing period. 2 of my friends had the same class as me and so they were waiting with me. The nearest classroom was about 1ish minutes around a corner and down stairs.(We have 15 minute passing periods and the lockers had their own places, Freshman/Sophomore/Etc. We were all freshman) As I was rummaging through my locker to get my book for the class I had an overwhelming feeling to get both friend 1, friend 2, and myself out of the school that very second. I tried to play it off but with every ticking second the feeling got more and more overwhelming. About a minute into this feeling I just shut my locker really hard screamed that we needed to get out of the school that very second. I started to have a panic attack and my friends got the message. We all ran out of the exit of the freshman locker room. The school then went on lockdown and students were running and screaming. Someone was on school grounds with firearms. Years later I found out that the people had broken in to the school through the freashman locker room window. Still think of how we could of been in the mix of it. (No on was hurt and everyone got out safe, the bad people got caught)

so one time, I was going to the other side towards my car to get something. When I was gonna go back to the other side (where I came from), I had a gut feeling to stop and just take a look at my phone. So I stopped, and at that moment a bike literally past right infront of me (its kinda fast and they were really near me). The biker didnt see me , which is why he didnt stop to let me walk across first. If I moved just a little bit, I would've died x-x (i already commented this on her other videos but idc)

This is a crazy gut feeling story, but it's kind of long. One time my mom and I were in line to checkout at Walmart and this guy got behind us in line. I took one look at his eyes and thought "nope, this guy is bad news." He stood close to us, and I just had a really bad feeling about him. He started telling us about how he just got out of jail after 27 years. He was accused of MURDERING his dad, but claims he didn't do it. He told us his name and told us to look him up. My mom was being nice, and she believed him but I didn't. We looked him up (his name is Donald Whalen btw) and his story was true. Since we met him, we've heard he's been arrested again 2 separate times. The first time was for failing to comply with a tracking device (probably an ankle bracelet). The second time was for STALKING and UNLAWFUL RESTRAINT of his ex girlfriend. A lot of people still believe he's guilty of murder (I definitely do), and the cause of his more recent arrest just confirms my initial suspicion of him. I KNEW there was something I couldn't trust about that man, and I believed my gut feeling, even though my mom thought he was fine. Also, when we told my dad about this guy, he explained how he worked at the bar this happened at sometime after the murder. He heard that Donald Whalen had a drug addiction and struck his dad with a pool cue to rob him. I wouldn't put it past him, considering he unlawfully restrained someone.

So this happened to my mom. She went to her aunt’s house and thought that her aunt looked kind of weird and that she should go get a checkup. So she told her aunt and also told her cousins (her children) they all attacked my mom, stopped talking to her, told her some really messed up things, and that they’re taking good care of her. Days later her aunt had a heart attack because of clogged arteries ( luckily she didn’t die though). If they listened to my mom she wouldn’t have had a heart attack. Then they apologized to my mom and everything is fine now.

Here's one situation I was in which is not completely related but I'm kinda bitter about. So last year I reached my bus stop a little late and found out the bus had left, however there was a stop, that was like a 3 minute walk, that I could go to, to catch my bus. So, I walk over and I'm waiting for the bus to take a u-turn, and then I see this man; who looked like he'd be in his mid or late 20s; smoking a cigarette. This guy gave me REALLY bad vibes! He kept looking at me. I mean, like 3 or 4 times every minute. There was noone around, so if he tried doing something, the chances of anyone knowing were very low. I was terrified. Then I see a female passing by. As she was walking past me, I mustered up the courage to politely ask her if she'd wait with me until my bus came because I didn't feel safe. She said, "I'm sorry, I'm in a bit of a rush. I need to reach my office quick because I'm late." All my hope died. As I spoke to this lady the creepy dude kept eyeing me. I actually thought that the second the lady left he was going to do something. Thankfully my bus came a little later. I'm still bitter about this because if something did happened to me, no one would know except her because my parents didn't know I had to go to the second stop and noone was around. I just know that if a someone asked me to wait with them because they didn't feel safe, I would. Everything else could wait, because a life doesn't matter more than work.

I have two stories. A few years ago my family wanted to go to the beach. Me and my mom were known for having gut feelings. Before we slept we felt like something is gonna go wrong. We both ignored it anyway since we were already ready to go there. My dad forgot to fill the gas last night so we had to go to the gas station. Including my cousin who suddenly who wanted to come didn’t prepare last night. While we were going to the gas station my dad and aunt were filling up the gas when we saw fire. We quickly went inside our cars and went to my house. We felt something would go wrong if we go to the beach so we stayed at home and went to the backyard to fill an inflatable pool. Thank god we didn’t go to the beach because we found out a few hours later that there was a shark attack. Another one was when we went to two birthday parties. We went to my cousin’s birthday party first, but we did not feel like going to the second since we felt something was wrong or we were tired. ( I didn’t remember much since I was like 7 at that time) the next day we were going to say sorry for not coming to the party. While we drove to their house they told us what happened yesterday. It seemed like an uncle was drunk and said a racist comment. Little did they know someone of that race was spying on them and started a fight. The children had to go their older cousin’s car to their grandparents house so they wouldn’t see them fighting or something like that.

My school gave out boxes of 60 chocolate bars to choir students(myself included) to sell. $1 per candy bar. Half of that money went onto our school account for trips. Well, my older brother got married so a 6th grader was now my niece by marriage(She's in 7th now). We knew each other before my brother and her mom got married but I didn't like her much. She told a lot of lies. Example: She told me that her brother was stalking me and wanted to get me knocked up. The second part was believable because my brother got her brother in trouble for carrying knives and a gun at school. But last year, we were selling candy bars together. She told me that her grandma had already bought all 60 candy bars so she could give them away for free. A part of me said: I don't know if I want to believe this bitch. The other part said: What if she's telling the truth? She gave me a few candy bars. After lunch one day, I was going down the stairs for recess and was stopped by the principal. He asked if I took some candy bars from her. I was honest and said yes because she told me her grandma paid for them all. Apparently, her grandma told her NOT to take a box because she didn't have money to buy any of them, but she took one anyway. She got mad at me for telling the truth and started cussing me out(Keep in mind, she was only in 6th grade and I was in 8th). I told her to stop talking to me like that and she tried lying to a teacher that I cussed her out. At the end of last year, I've had enough and didn't want to put up with her and I told her this to her face. She asked me why as she felt she did nothing wrong. I told her I am done with all of her lies and she told me to name one lie she has told. I listed these off. 1. When she said her brother stalked me and wanted to get me knocked up 2. When she said her grandma bought all of the candy bars 3. When she said that her mother wanted her to make the same mistake she did and get pregnant really young 4. when she said she sprained her ankle(She couldn't tell me how, she didn't have a cast or boot, and she didn't have crutches) She tried denying that she said any of those. Once, my family and I were going to go camping. My gut was screaming “No! Don’t go!” And I brushed it off thinking I was just crazy. Then on the drive there, this huge truck swerved towards us and if my dad driving hadn’t been paying attention and moved away, we would have died. I have a gut feeling story to share! So about a few years ago, I was fast asleep, but woke up at 1am with a feeling of impending doom. I got out of bed and saw my mother and grandmother talking. They were usually asleep before midnight, so I knew something was wrong. As it turns out, there was a gas leak and we had to leave our house and call the fire department. If we didn't wake up that night, we would have died from the gas. Edit: I am a heavy sleeper, so usually I wouldn't have woken up in the middle of the night.

Anytime someone tells me they don't feel good, I ask them what their symptoms are and listen closely for any symptoms that are signs of something more serious. Usually they're not, but it doesn't hurt to be informed and make sure everyone is okay.

I have a story: When I was at a water park I had ridden this roller coaster a few times. My friends and I were planning on going again, when a sudden wave of grief and sickness in my stomach. We were about to get on the cart but my feeling intensified. I told my friends and they asked if I wanted to go back. “We need to go back now.” I said. We got back to outside of the ride and I explained that I felt that something bad was going to happen and we shouldn’t get on. The cart we were supposed to be on went and we watched to see if anything bad would happen. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. “See, nothing. You’re probably just feeling effects of G-Force.” My friends said. We queued back up but the gut feeling was still there and getting worse. I felt like I was going to throw up when we were about to board the cart again but one of the workers escorted us off and said “We found a defect in the water pressure, we’re going to do a test run before you guys get on. We’ll need you to wait.” My friends looked at me in shock and we watched the cart go off on it’s own. It flipped halfway down the first drop. We would’ve been decapitated if we were in it

The second story reminds me of one of my own. We were on a trip to the beach with our class for a few days and I had managed to hurt my hand in some way. It got worse with time until I couldn’t move my finger at all anymore, because it hurt so much. My teacher kept on trying to force me into participating in different activities but I refused and told my parents once the trip was over. One time I was about to pull out of my driveway and drive to school. I put my car in reverse but then a voice in my head said "don't go yet." so I didn't. Nothing happened during my drive to school, but maybe something would've happened if I hadn't waited. I will never know why I had that feeling, but I know there had to be a reason for it. That's why I always trust my gut, because who knows, maybe I avoided my death that morning.

i mean it said he wore pjs. they could’ve been long sleeved so the dad didn’t notice, especially since they weren’t looking for anything in the beginning. the only reason they did spot it was bc the mom was intentionally inspecting. parents aren’t always perfect, they aren’t alwasy right. But i don’t think it’s fair for you to judge without knowing the whole story and context

There was a family friend's baby staying over for a while. My family and I were eating as the baby played around. Something told me to watch him and when I looked at him, he had an eraser in his mouth so I quickly got him to spit it out. He would've choked if I didn't get that feeling. Bless his little curious soul.

Here's one of my stories: When I was in 5th grade me and my younger sister (who was in kindergarden at the time) got off the bus at a stop about a block away from the house. There were two ways that we could take on the way home. One way was a busy street which took about 10-15 minutes to get home. We never go this way because its longer and I get nervous because my sister it a bit hard to control and I worried that she may run onto the street. The second way was a back alley way that only took about 5 minutes and was almost always empty.This is the way home we always go. Anyways, me and my sister got off the bus and started walking the normal way. I spotted a man standing at the bus stop who looked like an average man, noting weird about him. But me, being my paranoid self, led my sister away and around the man, making sure she was at a safe distance. "Hey girls how was school today?" the man asked. "We don't talk to strangers." I replied bluntly, hoping he would understand and leave us alone. "Don't worry I'm not gonna hurt you girls or anything."I suddenly get a really weird feeling as i take out my house key and pull my sister closer to me, turning around and heading for the busy street. I was nearing the busy street when the guy suddenly called out "Where are you two going? You always go this way." He said while pointing to the alley. I started walking faster as he started slowly following us. Then, a car pulled by us and stopped right next to me. My neighbor that I knew well rolled down the window and asked if we were okay quietly. "Hey mom!" I said loud enough for the man to hear. The man's eyes widened as he ran away quickly. Our neighbor drove us home and i made sure everything was locked and closed. I don't know what he was planning but I found out that day that the bus stop he was standing at was part of an old route that no longer exists.

Also, I often get strong urges to go see someone, that I really need to see them.... it often either saves their life or gives us one last visit before they pass.... if I can get there. My FIL had been knocking on death's door for years, we knew time was coming and had a visit arranged for the following Saturday. My husband didn't understand why I wanted to see him this Saturday as well as we didn't see him on a weekly basis normally. I simply told him that I just have a strong feeling we need to see him, so we did. The following Saturday, when we were originally meant to go see him, we got a call at about 6am saying to come to the hospital because it was time. He passed that day, on my partner's birthday, before he got there. My husband is so thankful that we got to see him the week before as it was a good visit and he felt like he got to say goodbye. I was in hospital and wasn't allowed to leave (I'd recently woken from a coma and I was not okay) when I had that feeling about my Nana. I made my husband promise to take our kids (who adored her) to go see her. It turned out it was the last time she was lucid and she passed a few days later....unfortunately, my husband broke his promise because it would be boring to him and he didn't want to hear her going on as usual. I'm still sad about this.

Gut feeling story ( not scary ) : A few months ago I got off of online school and was playing some Minecraft when m mom came in. She asked me to go to Lowes and get some glue for something. I asked what for and she sighed and said " Your Grandma is fixing her gutters and she's on the roof and needs it now" I'm like hold up she's on the roof is anyone watching her? My mom rolled her eyes and sighed and said yes but no one was watching. I bought the glue she needed and stayed with her at her house . When she got down the ladder when she finished she slipped a bit but I was holding it. She could have fallen off if I wasn't there. A 67 year old woman should not be on the roof especially with no one spotting to make sure she was safe! Grandma be careful you scared me. :(

My gut feeling story: A week after I had got my tonsils out my mom had an interview and I decided to take a nap and wait for her to come back. According to her she wanted to go to Starbucks and get my a drink or something but something told her to just go home and get the drink later. Thank God she did. When she came home the first thing she did was walk up to the spare room where I was sleeping and found me asleep, in a puddle of my own blood. Immediately woke me up and drove me to the hospital. Had emergency surgery that night. Apparently if i had coughed, sneezed, or done any kind of movement I would have died on the spot from the blood clot detaching from my thought causing me to bleed out. Yay mom.

A gut feeling saved my cousins life during 9/11

My grandma and aunt were in a really bad accident when my aunt was three, leaving my aunt paralyzed from the chest down for life. She is currently about 24. Before my aunt got her own car, (it had to be a specifically made for her condition) my grandma was her only source of transportation. Last year my grandma went to the grocery store with my aunt and usually my grandma puts away the groceries, and after she is done doing that, she puts my aunt in the car. This time, my grandma had a feeling she needed to put my aunt in the car first, so she did so. Not even 5 minutes later, a car slammed into my aunts side of the car, scraped against it, and then sped off. If my grandma had not put my aunt in the car first, my aunt would have surly died. I’m not exactly sure if they found the person who did it, but they would’ve killed my aunt and drove away. My grandma already had ptsd with driving, and you can only imagine how much it scared her. If I knew the person who did this, I would probably go to JD for beating the living shit out of the person, and leaving them there in pain for hours and hours until they have enough strength to ask for help themselves. Don’t hit and run. Karma will get you. And for the ass hole still out there, I hope the worst happens to you. Fuck you.

I think most gut feelings is just a person subconsciously noticing something subtle about someone or something. A good example my grandfather wrinkles were deeper and he was paler then normal... three days later he died of a massive heart attack. We didn't have any gut feelings at the time but in retrospect looking at the pictures of him holding his new great-granddaughter we could see it.

Not me but my friend: She met this dude on tinder, and he seemed nice, so she decided to go out. When she got to the restaurant, he was a 50 something year old man. She walked right out. The best day at her work, she saw him in the parking lot. Then at the supermarket. But when he showed up at her daughters daycare, she called the police. I wish I had a gut a feeling four years ago. Me and my husband were homeless in Colorado (which by the way - you won't find weed at(or at least the city we're in) but you find the harder drugs at.) But we were in a small group with a few others that were too homeless, and sleeping camped outside in a small forest. I have sever anxiety and I can't be in large groups due to it, it was, and still is, a huge issue because I go straight into panic attacks and my husband is the only one to help me calm down - so needless to say - we camped but he wanted to be in a small group because it was still dangerous and he didn't like me being alone for too long. I made a few "friends" with them, however on a Halloween night, we were attacked by another homeless group that camped close to us. Simply because they thought we racked their camp, it was untrue because I was the only one there at the time and I was asleep (when I got pregnant all I wanted to do was sleep. I barely ate or drunk anything, our group had messed up rules.) I was almost r*ped, my husband two of the other friends were almost killed because of the attack. The only didn't touch the "head" of the group. Even thinking back on it, I get the worse feeling about it. I don't have any proof of it, but it seems off that they wouldn't touch her. I still believe she was behind or at least in on it. I wish had that gut feeling before all that happened, it sucks that I didn't.

I had a recent gut feeling but I didn’t do anything about it. So my grandma has poor health and around last Christmas her health declined. My step mom went to go visit her in Ohio. Last Saturday I had a awful feeling in my heart that something was wrong and started to spontaneously cry around 1:30pm it turns out she sadly past ten minutes before. I wish I had the chance to say goodbye but I didn’t because of corona. Tell your loved ones I love you because you never know what will happen. There is always a possibility that there’s no tomorrow.

a gut feeling story i have was when i was like 13-12 and taking a walk near my house, this girl my age suddenly approached me out of nowhere and asked me where i lived. I vaguely pointed at my house and started to play with a dog nearby, she then asked me if i wanted to see a puppy she had and i agreed, even though my entire body was telling me to run away. girl then asked me to follow her and i did, only to hesitate shortly after. I made up a lie that it was getting too late and i had to go home, then noped out of there. Never saw the girl again, it was a bizarre experience. Even though, i still never trust my own gut because i'm afraid i'll either be seen as paranoid or straight up wrong
