In the movie, the character Hannibal Lector is a cannibal. Trump often uses the phrase "the late, great Hannibal Lecter." He also says of Lector, "He’s a lovely man. He’d love to have you for dinner." To me, Trump's repeated reference to Lector is yet another reflection of a deranged, angry, hateful, weak, and fearful personality. I'm glad that President Biden has stepped aside, and that Kamala Harris is on track to become that Democratic nominee for president at the convention in August. I am voting blue up and down the ballot in the fall.
