The first note of the E Dorian lick is not in the scale, and the "passing tones" (which give the lick much of its sound) continue on the next string. That's breaking new pedagogical ground. Nice sounding lick, anyway.

Mate you're a great guitarist and the contents of your videos are exceptional. Still, when you talk to your audience NOT looking into the camera, it is weird for the watchers and you look dumb. This is not an interview, where they sometimes use that alternate shot to add interest... this is a video tutorial where you are directly speaking to your audience and you should not break eye contact / look elsewhere. Just saying! Cheers!

Speak for yourself. Doesn't bug me in the slightest.
@Paralung2 жыл бұрын
Many youtubers do just that and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it.
@mikedonnellan49372 жыл бұрын
Doesn't bother me. Ross looks like he's doing what he's doing, namely, working into a camera. However tastes in these matters can differ. Peace.

He's 100% right. The fact many youtuber do that does not change the facts.

Your s great player But Your very complicated You move too fast from one thing to another You play stuff we don’t recognize Someone like me who is 67 is supposed to know who is the artist behind your inspiration ? This is what’s keeping me from buying your course.guys like me like Classic Rock , Page ? Clapton, Leslie West , I am sure you can play this stuff.
@alanhowell36462 жыл бұрын
If Ross is beyond you follow a lesson by someone else who teaches Page, Clapton etc. There’s plenty of them, Try Jeff McErlain for example
