So much great taste and musicality on your part, the licks and lines you played are "sick" (as in:phantastic!). In addition your entire relaxed and still organized demeanour and composure make for an enjoyable learning experience. Thanks a ton!

You even managed to get a cool Jazz sound out of that Les Paul, Andy. That's class. Watching this I think I've identified that my right hand technique for rolling over from string to string needs serious work. I stall like a spluttering car motor. Step time ok but real time crap. I think when I retire I'm going to have to move over to Canada for a while to book you in person for lessons. 🤣 It's the best way I personally learn. Although, the era of the University of KZbin has been amazing. 😉

I really appreciate that you're not forfeiting melodicism just to "burn." I've been hearing way too many guitarists doing that lately.

Really enjoying your videos. For 15 years I was intimidated by jazz - your videos have me excited to pick up the guitar and LEARN again. Thank you. I hope that Greece was incredible.

Awesome! Even as an accomplished, Rock/blues player, jazz vocabulary is just way too advanced for me… Lol Jazz players are like aliens to me. It’s such a different language that I just can’t comprehend playing. But I love the way it sounds.

It's actually pretty similiar sans altered harmony, but even that is all based on the major scale. The really difficult part is getting the rhythm and feel down. That and the modulations.
