the various Dark Souls and Elden Ring are filled to the brim with Berserk references, the guys at the software house love it xD

This episode is great solely for Guts, after all the trauma this man has been through and how he has lived his life believing that he will never amount to more than a "curse" or wasting away on the battlefield, he's finally found his purpose for why he fights. It may be a simple purpose, merely just to live and stay embodying the life found when blades meet, but he will keep living with this purpose. A nice parallel introduced is; Griffith has always had his purpose and will do anything to achieve it to cease the bloodshed it's caused, but now despite all death Guts has directly caused, he found his purpose. Griffith is held captive because he lost sight of his dream since he has only been thinking about Guts after he left him, but because Guts is no longer captive under Griffith's dream he is now free and with a purpose. Absolutely stellar episode, the commentary at the end is my favorite as always!!! People are hyping up the last episodes but don't get lost in waiting for the future, it's better digesting these episodes meanings and purpose alone and then relating them to the rest of the previous episodes!!! Also as others said, Souls-like games are definetly tied to Berserk, and many outright reference some of the characters lol These reactions are always a highlight so I'm always glad seeing them on my feed
