Easy way to reuse old gutters and create a space saving gutter garden hanging on your fence. I failed with the first attempt. The second attempt was successful. Think in 3D.
In retrospect, they work well for shallow rooted plants and plants that can stay in shade so the metal gutters won't heat up...

Nice video, there are bigger size gutters out there with more depth. You just happened to have the smaller one. It's good to see they really work. Thanks for the video. By the way nice garden you have there.

Yes, these were gutters taken down from my roof during hail repair. I hacked them together. Larger gutters would be better for larger plants, and, to provide more insulation against weather changes. For the gutter size I used, smaller rooted plants like herbs do well.
