This is my invention, the FlytCycle. It's a fully functional hover bike that was constructed in just 3 weeks. So far we've flown it hundreds of times and it's a ton of fun to fly around! We thought you'd enjoy seeing it in action!
It's a VTOL personal flying aircraft that's essentially a manned drone. Of course it's a bit more complicated than that but operates on the same basic principles.
You can see pictures and learn more about it on our website:

I could tell you a dozen things wrong with this thing the body or so called casey its builded to small they need to widen the body the blades are too close to the rider. they Need to widen roadders by 40%in the back roaders front roaders about 30% smaller then the back roadders with bigwill like seating for passengers and a sleek body this looks primitive you could tell this was nobody's imagination looks more like they took an old rocking chair and wielded it to a home made giant drone contraption

🔴 What Is Islam? 🔴 Islam is not just another religion. 🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham. 🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God. 🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone. 🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine. 🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as: 📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4) 📚 🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus. 🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him. Turbo1dr sometimes a person looking at a thing you're working on can see things from a different view, or aren't encumbered with all the things flying around in the inventors/ mechanics head. I've seen children come up with instant solutions for problems that made me wonder why I didn't see it straight off myself.. here's the thing..you do want the props at least level with the seat for lower c of g. Props need more bite, brushless digital motors would be a plus. That thing would be a lot more stable if the props were shoulder level of the rider. What is the flight time? Does it have altitude hold yet? What altitude can it reach? The way it sits now, that's about as high as I would be willing to go too. Needs a carbon fiber frame.

🔵 You must have missed it!.... Your question was answered (@4:45). This machine is WELL capable of flying at MUCH greater altitudes than is demonstrated here, but like ANY intelligent inventor/developer, he's being cautious until he feels ABSOLUTELY secure that he's ENTIRELY familiar with the foibles of his machine, after all, if something goes wrong, how high-up do YOU want to crash from?...... If you look at other videos of these type of aircraft that others have made, you'll notice that any any of them flying higher than this usually takes place over water for the same safety concerns.

Don't try to play it off as if it's MY fault that YOU didn't express precisely what you intended to!....... Nevertheless, to answer your question; I guess you'll see that scenario when whatever company that covers the insurance for the stadium allows them to invite someone in to do just that, I'm sure it's not for a lack of volunteers as there are quite a number of people who have built craft like this who would do it for free just for the notoriety/publicity, but the way insurance companies work these days there's little chance of THAT happening as they would be WAY too concerned with one of these things getting out of control and doing a slice and dice into the stands.

CG looks like it would be pretty high. Why not sit below the props above? It would provide a lower CG, PLUS you'd be out of the line of fire..OF THOSE PROPS! :-) Great job though. Looks like it would be a hoot to ride.
@flytaerospace4462
@flytaerospace4462 6 жыл бұрын
Surprisingly the CG is pretty much in the center of the propellers, the batteries are below the lower level of props and the person is sitting between them, so it balances surprisingly well! A past prototype had the props above, but it actually creates several control problems because it forms an unstable pendulum and surprisingly (and counter-intuitively) makes control more difficult.
@richardf911
@richardf911 6 жыл бұрын
Only unstable because the controller isn't tuned for that configuration. What flight controller are you using? The 'pendulum' set up should have a much larger sweet spot. But it won't work too well with average tuning.

Sky Fly You are an idiot. Even on a prototype safety should take priority, maybe especially on a prototype since it is an unknown variable. One little miscue and arms or legs are in the blades and he might never make it too the "update". What is the old saying? An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
@manfredadams3252

There are not covers on the blades for protection if that's what you are thinking.. The housings turn it into what's called a "ducted fan" increasing the thrust.
@marcasdude
@marcasdude 6 жыл бұрын
manfred adams...Maybe you didn't watch the video, there are no housings around the blades, it's not a ducted fan design although that would be a good addition. Ducts with a little chicken wire or something nonrestrictive to the airflow over the top would go a long ways toward safety and efficiency.
