The show over dramatises the country a lot for views. Many documentaries about Colombia only show the bad side of the country and they ignore the beautiful geography and culture of the country. Colombia is a much safer country than it used to be, much safer than other countries. Colombia is never escaping it’s bad reputation I fear, but it’s a very beautiful country and it is much safer to visit now.

Although you can tell Guy had fun throughout his journey around Colombia, his thirst for adrenaline and danger is very misleading. On one hand he is zooming on aspects that he finds fascinating like drugs. Sadly drugs process, drug chases and drug land is the main focus of this program. This is hardly a balanced picture of what the country is. On the other his approach to the culture is general and vage, although I'm sure for many is entertaining. Shallow, misleading and incomplete.

He should also do a documentary about how many people in the first world sniff cocain and smoke cannabis like nothing happens and the police don’t do anything about it! Why not doing a programme about how many celebrities have died and destroyed themselves by taking them? I never see any government policies in these places trying discourage drugs consumption, it’s all about how cool the drugs world is and how fun it is, what about doing programs about how easy is obtaining drugs in the first world and how is socially accepted, yet you can only see adverts about saving donkeys etc

treating cannabis like all the other drugs is not fair to be honest i mean you cannot even overdose with cannabis and yet alcohol you can buy in stores and is accepted but can kill you if u drink too much if u grow cannabis you do not have to put nasty chemicals in it you can use it straight from the plant but try making alcohol it is allot harder and dangerous if u make the wrong alcohol you can go blind
