Just catching up with the whole Welk blessing. I’m 85 and KZbin is letting me time travel and harvest the still living beauties I missed in the day. Guy Hovis is calming, like home and great deserts. Sure glad I saved desert for now.

You know he was actually on the show from 1970. He even said he started on 1970 during the first seconds into the interview

Welk gave him more money but he wouldn't give it to the Lennon sisters.

Welk was a notorious skinflint, wanted tp pay the Lennon Sisters scale after their huge success on the show and that's why they finally left.
