You can tell Guy's impressed by the sheer feat of engineering involved in the project, and that's infectious.

What comes to me so strongly is the true meaning of gratitude. Nowadays it's almost routine to say "thank you for your service," to a living veteran. I'm not saying it's in any way insincere. But the people involved in this incredible endeavor show how to exemplify gratitude. Thank you all for your fidelity. You truly honor sacrifice and I honor you.

I can't imagine the desperation the flight crew experienced & then the realization they weren't going to make it 😢. Good on ya @guymartinofficial for taking part in this necessary mission. ❤

My opinion if there was a fire on board in mid section I'd like to think all 3 would be in the cockpit away from the fire

You might let the editor know that starting the video in the middle of a sentence, WITH NO CONTEXT WHATSOEVER, is amateurish.

I disagree with the bullets in the chain idea bullets shot outside a chamder are lucky to get 3 meters out of the barrel before hitting the ground and go in every which direction probably not enough force to go though a peace of metal that can withstand more then 80 years at the bottom of a lake

They were said to be (thought of as) in a machine gun belt. --That's why the holes line up, orderly. Never went through a barrel. Were cooked off at 400 degrees plus, the speculation goes. The canvas belting has long since disintegrated.

Most frustrating programme I've seen in a long time. Lots of repetitive scenes repeating the same information and showing very little. Could have been a bus at the bottom for all we know 😂
