@@DanaHowl I feel like the colors still all match up across the whole army. If anything maybe the brassy colored heavy gunners could benefit from a bit more bluish tones on their underbellies, but the whole force has a lovely blue and orange palette that looks very visually striking when they are all together on the table. The bases in particular really sell the cohesiveness of the two-tone scheme. It feels grimdark. It feels like something Guy would paint. But it also has that distinct two-tone aesthetic I've come to appreciate from you.

I love this take on a Space Marine chapter. The small idea of separating them into "Packs" makes it really feel more like a monster hunting group, since they can all split up onto other monsters. I like how you made their emblems all unique to the marines themselves rather then carbon copies of each other too. Excellent work here, I also agree 'Space Sharks' Sounds way better of a name then 'Carcharodons'.

I am really new to warhammer 40k, i've been painting ultramarines and thanks to years of makeup and being an art student it wasn't super intimidating at first (even with anxiety tremors lol) but now I find even with "box standard" painted minis I want to push them further and make them look less default looking. What is a good way to figure out what paints I'd like without splashing out on 20 plus pots that might not be what i need and what are good resources to learn more advanced painting. UK Girl looking for some tips!

I love the concept of every squad being a different shark but I can't help say I still love the official Carcharodon scheme. The scrimshaw markings are so much fun to freehand and look so great. Still, this other approach is very Dana, very awesome and a great way to incorporate how colorful the original rogue trader era Space Sharks were in a more modern style.
