Have you read Rosco, the Fastest Aussie on Earth? Great book about the quest to smash the world land speed record. It's an amazing jet engineering story.

@@Howt-ooo totally agree mate but for how they do and explain things they are the same. I can listen to them both for hours and still enjoy listening to Fred even though I have seen every program he did several times.

Now if only Hero had shown it to Archimedes, and they'd figured out how to spin his water screw pump with it, Trireme's would have been up on plane in the Med, getting Greek Fire to western world quick smart. (Yes, I know, but what's a couple of hundred years getting in the way of a thought experiment)

Forget this shite! .......... READ the book 'Jet Man' the biography of Sir Frank Whittle. It is the fashion these days to talk of as 'brilliant' when some idiot kicks a football ............ FW was a TRULY brilliant man!

While I do enjoy these videos and most Guy things, these short videos are a waste of time. Too short to get into it and you want people to get into it, so when it ends, they want to go and watch more...
@pat4brown

I agree. However, a lot of the mini videos are extras which don’t make the programmes due to time constraints. Unfortunately. north One own the rights to Guy’s CH4 programmes so it’s up to them to make the whole programme available.
