Could you imagine being on the magical run that Ryan Reynolds started the day "Deadpool" was released? The man burps viral internet memes and farts money. Remember Green Lantern? Remember the first iteration of Wade Wilson with his mouth sewn shut? How did THAT guy become the most popular guy on Earth?

Well, when it comes to deadpool, he had a lot of loyal fan support to help him make his case. Even after the stinker in Origins Wolverine, people still wanted him to play Deadpool and made petitions and showed their support for that for years after, until it finally happened. And it paid off big time. I mean, there's obviously more to it than that, because just support from fans doesn't get a movie made, but I like to think it was one of the bigger contributory factors. People wanted a deadpool movie for a while now and they kept insisting that Ryan Reynolds would be perfect for the role, based on his past movie roles. They kept thinking that even after he had 2 superhero flops. They must feel pretty vindicated now and rightly so.
