My mom passed on November 22 2022. It was traumatic for me and my family. I'm a worship leader. I sing, play guitar and drums. But listening to this video, the way Guy sings in and around the melody towards the end leaves me undone in the Holy Spirit. Oh that I could glorify God with my voice the way Guy does in this video. I'm 70 years old and I have sang the best I could with the voice God gave me for many years. One of these days Trump will sound and I'll fly away. And if He tarries, I'll go home to be with Him. Either way I'm a short-timer on this planet. I will never be able to sing like Guy Penrod on this Earth and I doubt God will ever be surround me with such phenomenal musicians. But... It has been said that those who worshiped loudly and often and with reckless abandon here on Earth will in Heaven lead the multitudes. In that day I will sing with a voice equal to the joy and adoration within me giving expression to the unfathomable reality of his presence. I will skillfully play my heavenly Martin d-28 with profusions of color. In my little area of authority I will lead a million of the redeemed in praise and adoration with perfect harmonies and textures of music... Sounds that we will need our glorified bodies to endure for the beauty of it. Oh for a thousand tongues to sing!!! Eye hath not seen NOR EAR HEARD nor even entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for them that love him. If you're a young person reading this and heaven seems so far away, talk to an old person. We know our time is short. Just imagine knowing that you're going to see Jesus soon and experience things unspeakable and full of Glory. Whether the rapture happen sooner or later doesn't matter to us so much because we know our tomorrow on this Earth may never come. Feeling blah unenthused or weary? Talk to an old person. By the way, I'm turning 70 in about 2 weeks and was really feeling the dread of it. But you just reminded me that life is a series of stepping stones to eternity with Jesus, and I'm happy now that you reminded me of having only "several" more to get me there. (Not that we earn the way to our reward- it's all by God's Grace. And thankfully it doesn't depend on how well we sing... or teach... or paint... play... understand... prosper... or land on those step stones!) I turned away from Jesus in my early 20's and my life slowly and steadily went downhill... John 10:10 says, "The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy..". I lived a worldly life. The enemy wants people to slowly suffer while destroying everything that is good before he kills. Foolishly, I took control of my life, thinking I knew better. I tried filling the emptiness within with relationships, things, substances... Nothing made me feel complete. I'm not perfect, I still fall and i I still fail. And then I remember how much Jesus loves me (and everyone) and I'm so grateful that He softened my heart to receive His love. The most precious gift of all is the gift of believing in Jesus and what He did for us on the Cross on Calvary ✝️🤍

It was cultural for men to have short hair where he was and who he was writing to. He did not say that it was a direct commandment or viewpoint from God. In fact, Nazarites were commanded to grow their hair long. Sadly, modern day pharisees lack wisdom to not understand context in such letters from Paul. Shame on pharisees, if anyone. And he goes on to explain that a man should not have long hair and a woman not to cut her hair. He further explains why while explaining also the hierarchy of God and men/women. You can try to explain it away all you want but even in today's age 98% men don't have long hair, out of that 2% that do at least 2/3 are homosexuals. Being effeminate man is also wrong according to the word of God. This is an easy point to defend Liberty.

Sermons in 🎵 song. Very true but ensure you worship isn't focused on listen to good music but mostly reading the Word and prayer as well as your own songs of praise and scripture of praise the others songs. Maybe they should all be equal apart from eating the bread. But that and prayer is definitely super important. So... a bit hard. Maybe every day is different depending on what you need but there are some who just listen to music and do little study of the word and prayer. God bless

I just happened to find Guy singing Revelation song by accident. I've been waking and praying in the middle of the night for a very difficult specific reason and I found this recording of Guy . Guy if you see this, I want to tell you a very heartfelt thank you. As I listen to this song (every night) its like I'm hearing Angels sing. I saw Guy at an outdoor event this past August and a Severe Thunderstorm was coming right at us. I was unsure when Guy went out on his own.. but oh my!! The anointing that is so evident now that he is on his own. No disrespect to the Gaither Quartet. I love them. I love David Phelps. But Guy reminds me of what I picture Jesus as. you also have to remember that he may not be in Heaven, you may not be there either. What you do on this earth and if you have your life right with God on this earth determines if you will be there or not. God won't take people to Heaven who won't be happy there..
