My only son passed away little over 1 year ago 50 yrs old from heart problems. I prayed every minute of the day n night that God should have taken me instead of David. Oneday while listening to music on here I came across this song and the words meant so much to me. He has family in heaven that I am sure they were happy to see him again when I listened to your words bout bringing him back to me n suffer It really made sense to let him there in peace, no problems n lots. Of family. I've always raised his 2 children from very young and I see my Dave in both of them so now I hope to live as long as his kids need me. I would love to thank you for your words in this song and giving me the strength to wanna live again now that David is in a better place. THANK YOU SO MUCH

The Sweet Lord gave me this song about an hour or so before my dear Daddy went home to be with the Lord. I was struggling whether to go sit with him yet again that night. I had never seen Guy sing with a lady before and I just hit the picture on KZbin not even looking at the songs title and this is what I believe the Lord guided me to help me go through that hard night. I was listening and listening to it over and over as I held my daddy’s sweet hand until he was in the hands of our precious Lord. What a blessing and a comfort this song has been to me. Heard this song for the first time when searching for a song to play at my parents burial. We lost my dad 4 years ago and my mom this past April 25, 2020. With all the challenges of COVID we were not able to have a celebration of life service for my mom or burial. But we had an intimate family gathering for her and dad’s ashes burial this past July 16, 2021. This song was a beautiful reminder that they were fully home experiencing unending life and love free from their physical pain. Thank you for such a beautiful song.

My cousin sent me this song a day after my Dad died on July 21st this year from Alzheimer's. It was a rough 2 years but my Son and I managed to care for him and he was able to pass at home.
