That really is a proper sword. I looked up the forging project and master blade smiths who made it. It’s not a knockoff or prop. Unfortunately, it’s the only one of its quality. The commission for it was privately contracted. You can’t get a duplicate. THAT’S one hell of a gift!

@@Durzel That was achieved through the forging process. They stained the blade after it was tempered. It’s called a “forced patina” done with an acidic solution.

@@fstbr4 I don’t doubt that MAA could recreate such a sword. I just think it’s awesome that this one was made real and given as a gift. Most movie swords used in films are just props. Real ones are rarely used in scenes and they usually end up in studio collections or kept by their creators. Actually, Arnold Schwarzenegger still has the real original Atlantean Sword from Conan The Barbarian.

I only watched it last month when my mother bought the blue ray and I must say that since then I have watched it 10 times! The scenes, the photography, the MUSIC is fantastic! Charlie was wonderful and I was very satisfied! I do not understand why it was not appreciated! What was wrong? Why was the story too different from the other Arthur movies? Better that way we have not already spoiled the movie! Was not there a love story? Who cares! We did not miss it. (sorry for my english but it's not my first language)

I really liked the films on sherlock holmes and man from uncle (from which I expect a sequel), and I do not understand why this film was not as good as the others. I looked at it before reading the reviews and I was very surprised by the negative votes also because the friends to whom I recommended it were satisfied. A pity that there will not be a second film.

So, Charlie spent 8 years working an American accent so his normal accent slowly died and now it’s slowly coming back. He’s actually from north eastern England which makes him a Geordie. His heritage is Nordic. And that’s basically what a Geordie is. Their accents are Nordic/English/Scottish sounding.
