I play like the(BIG) guy to your left. Pass & come with odds.However,I have never had ALL the point numbers covered!EVER! I'm proud to say that I have never lost $600 on a seven out,either. Better odds on free odds than place betting,IMO. NO ONE tried to buy in during a roll! "I couldn't hear the call". Music too loud? I can't see that far,anyway. You would think that come bets and odds are actually good, but in reality they don't pay out as well as a place bet. 1. not only does the shooter have to hit that number twice to get paid, but with the come bet being 1 to 1, even with true odds, you are getting a lower payout than a place bet. The only thing that a come bet is good on is hedging the 7, but even that still only pays 1 to 1. Example: If you put a $15 come bet out and I placed the 5 for $15 dollars and a 5 rolls, I get paid $21 and your come bet moves to the five. Say you put $30 odds on that come bet and I raise my place bet to $45 to match your amount. A 5 rolls next roll. Your total bet gets paid $15 for the come bet and $45 for the odds for a total of $60. Meanwhile, my $45 place bet gets paid $63. 45/5=9 a 5 pays 7 to 5. 9*7 is $63. I won 3 more dollars, not including the $21 I made from the first time it hit. Come bets are not smart overall.

@@bryanmcfarland2253 For the most part, you are right, but, to some extent, it depends on the maximum odds allowed by the casino. A place bet on the outside (4, 5, 9,and 10) is the equivalent of 4 times odds, while a place bet on a 6 or 8 is the equivalent of 5 times odds. If the casino allows 10 time odds (as does the one I usually go to), come bets with full odds are a much better bet, except, of course, for the issue you raise about having to hit the number twice.

@@jimtuell4076 not true. do the math. Example: 15 dollar table 10x odds 6 is rolled. your $15 dollar come bet and $150 in odds pays $195 total. a $168 place bet on the 6 pays out at $196. With the benefit that I don't have to wait for the 6 to roll twice. In reality it's the base minimum come bet that makes the pay outs not as good since they are 1:1. even at 10x odds, I make more money with place bets if two numbers repeat then you do on your come with odds.
