This live craps game at the Luxor in Las Vegas turns out to be one rough game. While some players won big on some bets, those same players lost HARD betting aggressively. Each player has their own reasons or strategies of playing. And that's fine. But, when you see the dice go cold, it's probably a good idea to start betting on the "dark side".
The Luxor is a FUN place to play. Not too flashy or huge, but not small and boring. The hotel rooms are the same; not huge and opulent, but not small and outdated. The elevators in the pyramid are a TOTAL TRIP to ride! They travel DIAGONALLY! And the open view of the shops and casino below from each of the levels in the pyramid-style hotel, is really quite a sight.

The best table ever was about 15 years ago the Claridge in AC had 1 table called MINI CRAPS the table was about 7-eight feet in length and 4 across..AND HAD BOLTED SEATS!! It was the BEST AND FUNNEST TABLE I HAVE EVER PLAYED and won a lot of money on it..we would go on weekdays with 3-4 of my buddies 8 seats in all 4 on each side even the stick was mini..it didn’t last long. But people would stay for HOURS. I have never seen another and I would travel far just to play a similar table..great times!

I had a 50 toss game at a casino in PA on June 27. Made people a lot of money. Threw very quickly using dice on top dice setup with what the stickman gave me and made 5 point numbers.

Thank you for sharing. I am a newbie for sure but at 7:12, after the come out roll of six (6), the bets were moved off of the 6 to the eight (8). Could the players have requested that the bets be in play on come out? Thanks in advance.

Yes, they could have worked the come out. Would have paid for that established point. At that point you can do the same, moving it to the 8 or if you want more on the 6... pull it down for a pass line odds bet.

goutvols103 Yes, you can have your place bets ‘in play’ on the come out roll (I normally have my 6/8 ‘working’ on the come out) The house default is that all place bets are “off” on the come out roll. If you want your bets be on (called “working” at the craps table) you have to specifically tell your dealer to “work” your bets on the come out. Hardway bets can be off or on. If you listen to the stick man when someone hits their point and they’re shooting another come out roll, he/she will remind the table by saying “hardway bets are ‘off’ unless you turn them on” or vice versa. So if you have a hardway bet, always confirm with the stick man before the come out roll.

I would say this was a cold table. I saw last week PSO for no less than 6 times in a row. Nobody hit a point if you manage to hit a number. It was horrible. Seen 2 guys loose a total of $18K!

There is NO setting where the Martingale system is good. Each roll in independent from the other. Using that system is like trying to climb out of a pit that MIGHT have a decaying ladder to help. That ladder can break at ANY time.

No. That is done usually do separate the denominations of the chips and make it easier for the dealer to figure out the payout.

J P there’s certain color dice at casinos on the Las Vegas strip that are more dense and hit more 7s frequently. I’ve play at this particular table and have played with blue, red, orange, and green dice. The red and green dice feel very different in your hand when you throw them compared to the blue and orange dice.

There is simply NO WAY of knowing if you'd have the same results with different colored dice, and there is NO WAY a certain color will "make/cause" a 7 to hit more frequently. PERIOD. The only reason you're thinking this is because you're noticing the dice of games that the odds were not in your favor that particular session. Quit blaming it on the color of the dice, and accept the fact that NOBODY is going to win EVERY time thanks to the odds ALWAYS being against you.

Inside the Casino yea I’m here in Vegas now. Been playing at different casinos on the strip. For the trip I’m up 2k. Definitely feel like they’re using different weights of dice at different casinos. You can feel that some of them are more dense than others. When I would encounter the dense dice, I’d roll a lot more 7s then when I played with more lighter dice. The tables with dense dice, all had them the same color. So it definitely does play a roll in the outcome of the dice. 🤷🏽‍♂️

IMPOSSIBLE. There's NO WAY that lighter dice or dense dice have differing probabilities of hitting 7. They have the same number of sides. The ONLY way that 7s would come up more often is if they were weighted to do so. And that is 100% illegal and would get a casino shut down. You are only noticing the weight of the dice because the luck was not in your favor in those particular games. Colors have NOTHING to do with odds/probability. PERIOD.

Inside the Casino how certain can you be that those dice aren’t weighted differently? Who regulates that, the casino themselves? Consistently have had the same results with the same dice at the same casinos. The tables with the lighter dice rolled more authentic and true to fashion. I won all my money on those colors. 4700 from this last trip alone over 3 days. Every time I took into consideration the exact things you said, regardless of color or weight of the dice, I lost money. Playing the exact same way I do with the lighter dice. Definitely feels like something is up there.
