Guy is Coach on the Voice, he won Australian Idol back in in 2003, I believe he was the first ever winner of Australia's version of Idol. He co-wrote this song. The song centers around issues surrounding mental-ill health and the struggle to support loved ones who are suffering. In a lead-up to the song's release, Sebastian said "A family member of mine was going through a very tough time, and he was brave enough to share his battle with his own mental health, and that inspired this song". Guys a 'chart topping' artist and this song was from his album Truth. Thanks for the reaction.

You are correct in your assumption that it was written for Guy's cousin who was in that frame of mind. He's fine now but the reason you see so much passion and of course pain is because only 12 months before one of Guy close friends and band member Luke took his own life. Guy wrote a song called 'Choir' for Luke which started out as a ballad but he had to change it to an up beat tribute song because he could never get through it. Guy & his wife Jules started The Sebastian Foundation many years ago....and this year started a program for schools called 'Open Parachute' to support kids who have issues. A gorgeous human being. Guy wrote this song for a family member who was going through depression which inspired the song, unfortunately he did take his life. Guy's brother Chris Sebastian is also a very successful artist who won the Voice Australia, and he also wrote a song for after the loss of their family member.
