Girl I love your story because that is my growing up too I wore shoes with holes etc. grew up with my grandmother my grandfather had a stroke etc. we came to New York when I was 14 I am now 59 but I was so determined to have a good life. Working hard pays off. You know the song work hard play harder. I am so proud of you guys love always

Dave & Trish GN God bless you always and your family.. that is why you all have what you have that is God have plans for you there.. n yea an i know"s what you meant to go through what you have.. i went to Canada since 1978 since i was 18yrs old to stay with my Aunty to HELP her out when she was having her baby but family was jealous of me going there with her I had to come back home after 6months here back in Trinidad. But unfortunately i went back n forth there with her.. N i got married very early in life at the age of 20yrs old But that went ok. Have grown kids now I use to go back always to visit my Aunty.. n ppl use to still get jealous of me some famliy n some off the neighbours.. But i didn't care what they think.. So i keep on living tho.. I have been born and raised in South Africa ...you know the story our forefathers where shipped here to work as indentured laborers under the colonial rule but I'm so proudly South African and I love the Indian culture the world over and have only recently found out that there are Indians in South America like Guyana and Trinidad which is so amazing . Similar culture here however , cuisine very different . I have my precious daughter who is in the States and my plan is to come live there for awhile but they are far far away from you .
