OMG!!! The information you have shared here has given me so much hope!! I actually bought one of your books regarding my dissertation a few years ago when I first started my doctoral program and this video reminded me that I need to re-read it because it didn't make sense to me back then but I am in my second dissertation class where I have to turn in my project plan to get my topic picked up for approval and I felt like I was drowning!! One of my classmates shared this video and it's like all the lights came on inside my brain!! I am going to watch the other ones because this one was so wonderful and straight to the point!! Thank you so much!!!

Dr. Guy, you are such a blessing! I have been watching your videos for the last two days and I have learned more from them (i.e. how to write a problems statement and purpose statement) than I did in any of the courses that should have prepared me for this dissertation journey! I truly wish I had discovered these videos when I first started my dissertation classes, I would likely be finished by now and saved myself quite a bit of money. I will continue to watch and learn. I intend to join The Dissertation Mentor within the month. Thank you and may God's continual blessings overtake you, Sherri

Thank you so much. I have been getting your e-mails. The last one (this video) I thought "I got this, I don't need to watch it since I already turned in my prospectus". Well, my chair tore the crap out of my prospectus and one of the comments was that I didn't have a good problem statement. So, feeling overwhelmed and not knowing what the feedback meant, I watched your video. As in the past, you have helped me tremendously by showing me how to organize my thoughts and understand what the heck they want. Thank you SO much. Just one thing: I know you love your family, and you have a beautiful family, but us doctoral students are often strapped for time...I've seen other comments in regards to this. I am taking the time to write this because I know your heart is good and you love helping us out. So I think it would be appreciated it if maybe instead of however many minutes talking about your family and showing pics, maybe you can dedicate each video to your kids, or maybe shorten the presentation about them to a few seconds with photos (I love the photos :-) but just shorten that segment down a little bit. Thank you so much for all you do. You really are making a difference.
