Maybe my favorite track. This song is about the smeraldo, the blue flower that Jin was guarding in fake love and that V was holding in Singularity. The story of the smeraldo in a nutshell (form a 15th century Italian): There was a man who was disfigured and couldn't go out in public because of his face, so he locked himself up in his garden and developed a passion for flowers. One day he noticed that someone had come into his garden and picked some flowers. This kept happening, so he waited and watched and finally saw a woman enter in the dead of night. He was taken aback that he just watched her pick his flowers. He watched her night after night and soon he was watching for her. He couldn't show himself to her, but became entranced by her and followed her. He found that she was selling his flowers on the streets. He decided that the only way he could help her was to create a one-of-a-kind flower that she could sell for a lot of money. Months passed and he finally had grown the smeraldo. But the girl stopped coming. He later discovered she had died. So.. it's an if only story-- as in, if only he had met with her, or if only he had found a quicker way to help her, etc.

Hey guys, this song is soooo deep.. remember singularitymv whereby taehyung was seen in a garden and one part where he took a mask and wore it? It related to this song.. This song is inspired by an Italian novel, whereby there lived a lonely man who thought that he was ugly and refused to show himself in public.. his mother died when giving birth to him.. To cut it short, he lived in the house alone, and the house had a garden with beautiful flowers.. one day he caught a lady stole flowers from his garden.. at first he was mad but he couldn't confronted the lady because of his face.. so he wore a mask and followed the lady without her realising it.. the lady went to the city and she was actually selling those flowers to live.. The man was so touched that he fell in love with the lady but still afraid to confront her.. what he did, he started to take care of his garden even more, to make sure the lady got her flower supplies.. the lady came and stole the flowers as per usual until one day she stopped coming.. This man became so curious and decided to wear his mask and he went to the city to find out.. so he met the usual customers and they informed him that the lady is already dead.. The lonely man became so devastated and cried so hard that he did not get the chance to see that lady face to face even once only from his window, yet he fell for her.. he did thought that what if he met that lady and maybe her fate would be different.. THIS IS A SAD SONG!!

This is such an emotional song and i love how they how they distributed the lines esp the part for Jin and Jimin. I love Magic Shop more please react to that . I really love this song so much (i cant choose my fav song from the album yet tho bcs all the songs are great). I love all their voices :") but i really don't know why everytime i hear Tae's voice, it feels like i'm melted and I even cried. I just want to tell u guys, actually this song based on the italian story called smeraldo. Its about an ugly guy that bloomed a flower when he's lonely bcs no one would like to see his ugly face, but there's a girl that stole the flower to make a life ,so he bloomed a very beautiful flower called smeraldo to make the girl rich. And he always follow the girl wearing a mask but u know what? The girl never come back after she take the smeraldo bcs she die and POOR MY HEARTEUUU 😭😭

The blue flower name 'Smeraldo' that you seeing in fake love M/V--- "There's a story called, 'La Città di smeraldo' that takes place in a small town in Italy in the 1500s-1600s. The story's about an 'ugly' man who hid in an old castle alone. because of his looks he received lots of hate & cruelty while growing up. He never opened his heart to anyone. Whenever they tried to approach him, he hid in anger. His happiness was to plant flowers in his garden. One day a woman appeared near the man's castle. She jumped over the garden fence and stole a flower. This angered the man at first. So he watched his garden all night. But when he fell a sleep, the woman took another flower. This continued for several nights. The man pretended to be asleep and watched the woman steal a flower. He started becoming curious about the woman. He began waiting for her. without realizing he kept waiting for her to come and the next day seemed a little brighter. Following after her one day he realized that she was selling the flowers that she stole from him to make a living. The man desperately wanted to help the woman. But he was afraid she would be terrified by the way he looks. He knew she would not love his 'grotesque' appearance. He came to a conclusion that the only way he would be able to help her is to let her continue stealing flowers from his garden. The man decided to make a flower that doesn't exist on the planet. So that the woman could sell them at a expensive price. He began to make the flower in his castle. After many unsuccessful attempts, the man made a flower that didn't exist and filled his garden. But the woman stopped coming. No matter how long he waited she never came to his garden. He eventually found out that the woman had died. We all are familiar with the smeraldo flower because we've seen it numerous of times in bts's MV (I need u, singularity, LY her highlight reel, fake love, etc) Smeraldo's flower language is non potevo dire la veritá meaning the truth that couldn't be told which sounds like a tragic love story The man in the story never went up the to the woman because he was afraid that the woman wouldn't love him because of his appearance. The whole theme of this comeback is about loving yourselves no matter what, something that the man didn't do"

This is my favorite song out of LY : Tear Album. Jin, V, Jimin did a great great job but jungkook nailed it and just hella makes me feel like i'm broken hearted to his line "but i still want you".
