JHope exchanged the snickers for cake. perfect! BTS exceeds expectations every time! BTS are gonna blow BBMAs away! already 35M views in less than 24 hours! our kings are amazing! kudos ARMYs! V killed me several times again as expected! i love V! BTS is the best! there's nothing like BTS! yes, the choreo seemed like filled with aggression. you should really watch the hyyh and wings era to know the details and understand the theories. also, there's no computer graphics in this MV. even Jimin's flood scene, Jin's shattered windows, Suga's explosive living room, JHope's bed of snickers, V's wall to wall lighting cellphones and Jungkook's collapsing floors. J-hope gave sneakers to the shop for the cake You can also see the sneakers in his wings short film. İ think it kind of represents his struggles, like being abandoned in a lunapark and drug addiction stuff like that. (If you look at the room where jhope starts rapping you can see the lunapark toys.) Acctually this mv has a lot of details and hints but i dont think i can stop if i start lol. So he gave the sneakers to the magic shop. Magic shop gave him the cake, which is given to him by the girl in the highlight reals. So the cake is the possitive attitude, temporary happiness. And you can say that the his love for the girl is not real its FAKE. Besides at the end of the highlight reals music video, they got separate with their fake and temporary happines in various ways. (the girls) Magic shop took them back maybe i dunno that much lol. Anyways their love is FAKE cause that world isnt real. Its an illusion. I feel like this music video is like, they r coming back to their reality after LY:her era, which is so colorful and full of happienes granted by magic shop and realizing it was all fake. So you can say that the highlight reals is like a bridge between this two album and concepts. Begining is Ly:her its happy, but its an illusion given by magic shop temporary, in the end of the short film it has taken back so they end up with their sadness and sarrow again which is their reality, Ly: tear. Now i should shut up before i go even deeper in theories.

I also love Jhope and Jungkook mirroring each other. And also love that lyric 'i grew a flower that cannot bloom in a dream that cannot come true.' this song was about how when you love someone but because you want to be perfect and strong for the one you love you hide and change yourself for that someone, and you do it for so long that you don't recognize yourself anymore. The Snickers, was what Jhope exchange for the cake in the trailer, in the highlight we see him being left near the merry go round with a Snickers bar near where he stood. His mom probably gave it to him, and having it is a reminder of his mother which is good and bad at the same time.

In love yourself highlight reel, j-hope was abandoned by his mother in front of a carousel and left a snickers for him, that’s why he exchanges the chocolate in the magic shop as his fear. Like, the snickers represent abandonment for him and that was his fear, being abandon. Edit: btw if you will notice everything that was shown here has a connection to the hyyh and wings era, water for jimin, fire for suga, mirror for rm, the flower and window for jin, phone for v (from prologue where he made a call after killing his father). And for jungkook he doesn’t have anything, he was an spectator, watching everything happening to all the members as his hyungs sadness was his own fear.

The story of the snikers is that jhope 's mom in this Alternative universe gives him a chocolate bar everytime he stays obedient to her when he was a child, but sadly his mom left him in an amusement park by telling him to close his eyes and to stay still and as a reward for that she gave also a snickers before abondoning him.that's why it's a bad memory for jhope and he exchanged the chocolate with the cake from the highlight reels. But sadly the memories from the highlight reels are fake

You see how in Fake Love he runs from room to room where each Member is locked away (their true selves?). Is he trying to save them? The world is falling apart- literally, as the floor drops beneath his feet. So JK is racing against time? And why does Jin close the curtains and at the same time JK is there?
