I’m so late to this video but I just have to say thank you to Neda for being the representation for a group of people who likely felt ostracized. Though I’m not Muslim and do not wear hijab, I absolutely can appreciate Neda for being confident and comfortable in her own person to do pole dance and not let what others in her community say sway her or make her feel ashamed. She proves that even in hijab and even covered from head to toe, you can still look and feel incredibly sexy.

I love seeing the representation of a hijabi pole dancer. It helps break down the stigma and stereotype of what Muslim women are and what they can/will do.
