Love the metallic, silver colour its a colour l really want on my hair but l was told that l was unable to get that colour done to my hair because l have darker hair. But when l see you dye so many different type of darker hair and you give the customer a beautiful hair colour l am so amazed. So when l was told that my hair couldn't be that colour l was thinking in my mind well guy tang can do any hair colour on darker hair. I wish you could come to New Zealand l love how you colour hair.

You should show them this video then! They've have to lighten your hair more then once, but once they get it light enough this should be attainable!

I think most hairstylist told you that because it simply an all day long event and they don't want to mess with it, since it took multiple steps to achieved that color, which mean they only be doing only your hair all day and can't take any other clients. Thus, If you're willing to pay for the amount of times and products that being used then I don't think you have a problem finding someone doing it. I am a hairstylist too and most people came in they want to go from level 2 to 10 smoky blonde and they think that you just applied 1 color on their head and 30 min later they will have the color that they want and they don't want to stay in the salon longer than 2 hours. I have to say for this color that Guy Tang just did it has to cost between $500-750 USD and most people expects to pay $120 which is not even enough to covered for the colors and supplies being used.

U def can! Just have to find a stylist who’s professional and knows what they’re doing. My professional 23yr old hair stylist did it on me in one session! And my hair wasn’t damaged at all! Went from dark dark brown to silver! It took all day yes but I had long hair at the time so that’s a factor too. My husband also did his from dark brown to silver in one session with another stylist and took a couple hours so less time cuz his hair is short I guess. But yea maybe some stylists can’t do it or don’t want to try if they aren’t confident. Maybe depends on type of hair too. It’s costly too which is understandable so expect that! Goodluck!
