Man, you have no idea how useful is this. English is not my native language but when it comes to explaining physiology you’re by far the best teacher I’ve could ask for. You’re that part that was missing cause I couldn’t understand it. I can’t thank you enough for this knowledge, i wish I could pay for this, but it’s not possible with this economy of a 3rd world country. Hope some day I’ll be someone to thank you with more than a comment.

I find your videos very useful, thank you so much!! 😃I do have one question about this chapter. The book states that tetany occurs because enough calcium ions are maintained in the sarcoplasm. This does make sense to me, because of the constant activation of the troponin complex and therefore the constant available active sites so contraction is possible. However, when looking on line, I found hypocalcemia causes tetany. I find this conflicting, I don't get how this works? What happens during hypocalcemia that effects the quantity of the calcium ions in the sarcoplasm?
