I noticed too, his "Team" changes a lot in talent over time. (The first animation had alot more care and detail than his 2nd animation which felt more rushed) Making me believe he doesn't actually have a team but he has merely commissioned freelances to finish off the work.

It's sad when you grow up with a franchise like this and then you see ultra-nostalgia-blinded people lash out at others in the most irrational ways possible, especially when they're supposed to be full grown adults. I was born in 2003 but i grew up playing about half of the Crash Bandicoot games released up to that point (specifically 1, 2, a demo of Bash via Spyro Year of the Dragon, Nitro Kart, Purple/Fusion, Twinsanity, Tag Team Racing, and Mind Over Mutant), and I liked all of them and still like all of them except for perhaps Purple/Fusion. I was excited when Crash came to Skylanders and i've played N. Sane Trilogy, Nitro-Fueled, and 4 ever since and enjoyed all of them. I have just always been a Crash fan and i look for the positives in each entry. But people like this guy are SO obsessed with the notion of "Old thing good, new thing bad" that they think a slight redesign of a orange cartoon bandicoot is something that is worth sending death threats to people over. I never saw "tattoo Crash" or "classic Crash", I just saw Crash. I will admit that I used to kind of act like him in specific sects of the Internet (I was one of **those** Undertale fans on Google+ when that was still a thing, and i used to have a vitrolic hatred for Racist Mario by Flashgitz and would get into arguments with other commenters on said video that would result in graphic flame wars), but the difference was I was 12-14 years old and was exposed to the internet WAY too early, and I eventually matured both by the way of the internet (thanks to being in a Discord server for a Mega Man fangame, I wanted to follow the rules so I could stay in the server and because I respected the developers), and real life (my parents splitting up), while this guy is in his 30s and still acts this way. It's incredibly sad to see people this old act like this in any context, whatsoever. Hell i'm actually YOUNGER than him (I'm 21) He does have somewhat (and a massive emphasis on SOMEWHAT) of a point on Activision, because Activision is a greedy shitty corporation riddled with sexual abuse and toxic work environments, but i still wouldn't go as far as to threaten people within that environment with death, and Beenox, Vicarious Visions, and Toys for Bob did nothing wrong whatsoever, as they're merely developers that care much more about the games they make and the fans than profit. Side note, it's pretty refreshing seeing a video dealing with suicide and other heavy topics being relatively uncensored (at least in comparison to almost every other modern KZbin video dealing with the same topics). I like that you actually say "kill" and "suicide" rather than using some cringy algorithm-friendly minced oath like "unalived". I don't know if this video will stay like this for very long, but it was at least refreshing while it lasted.

I was unfortunately one of the victims of Guyus's harassment just last year. He's made a 3D render of my dragon character's head on a pike and threatened to unalive himself and hold me responsible for it, which of course was an empty threat to me. I even told him to leave me alone when he wouldn't get off my back about the modern Crash games, and he took it as me telling him to off himself, which of course I didn't. It's funny that he goes on saying that his enemies (myself included) are "mentally ill and that they should either get a straight jacket or unalive themselves", when in reality this 30 year old man has shown textbook examples time and time again that he refuses to understand the meaning of the word "irony". In my opinion reboots are good only if done right. Take the Ducktales 2017 reboot and the Ben 10 2016 reboot (please don't flame me). Ducktales 2017 kept some of the charm of the original Ducktales with a little bit of a twist. Featuring new characters, lore, and a nice special charm to each of the characters. Now Ben 10 (2016) took till the end of Season 1 to get its footing with Ben becoming more likable and new modes for the aliens. And character development.

What he wants for the series is something that caused its downfall in the public eye post naughty dog. WOC was basically just crash warped again with little to no innovation with too many vehicle levels, and the general public responded with mixed feelings. This is the same reason why everyone sees the new super mario bros series as bland and repetitive as they are the same games as years previous with only little changes. What guyus wants is inherently flawed and limiting which leads to no innovation. Crash 4 was able to strike a balance of familiarity and innovation, and people responded positively. This shows that his ideas to "fix the series" would just tear it down even more. Image if naughty dog did not innovate after crash 1 and just made crash 2 identically like it. No slide, no warp room, no nitro crates, and no charaters like N gin and Tiny.

I've heard a few times that Twinsanity is one of his favourites, which is barely a traditional Crash game at all. So I really don't understand where this sentiment comes from, he wants classic Crash yet loves the games that aren't classic Crash. Hell, his own game isn't classic Crash. In fact it's probably the least "classic" out of all the Crash games. I'm starting to think this guy just doesn't know what he wants at all, and just seems confused and then becomes frustrated at his own logic. Or lack thereof. If he had some muscle he'd make a good wrestler.

I remember that image of decapitated 'modern crash'. No matter how many times I told him to knock it off, he never listened when he'd try and submit shit like that to the Crash club I used to run on dA. He got worse and worse, and in the end I had to block him on dA due to his behaviour. He's the main reason why I distanced myself from Crash.

past vs. future and tradition vs. progress is a common debate, personally speaking i fall in the middle - never forget the past but don't let it define the future - but see... there's such thing as going too far in one direction. guyus clearly falls into past _hard._ so much so infact... would he have really preferred it if crash never got a modern trilogy remake or new game? just left to rot for eternity in early playstation system hell? stasis is just not how the world works, things evolve and change over time to adapt to new problems and environments. we literally wouldn't be here without it... and frankly i cannot fathom why folks like these have such an issue with it.

Facebook usually bans or just outright suspends people for sending death threats to other people. How Guyus hasn't been suspended from Facebook yet for sending huge heaping piles of death threats to other Facebook users is puzzling to me. Oh, and knowing that he's 30 freakin' years old makes this story even more concerning.
