While sometimes campy, the movie excelled in one amazing area: COSTUME ACCURACY! Guyver2:DH's Guyver suit has got to be the most perfect live-action costume adaptation for nearly 2 decades before the MCU tried their hand at super hero suits. Steve Wang is a genius with the Guyver2 suit and the other creature suits in that movie - especially without any major blockbuster-style billion dollar funding.

They don’t make movies like these anymore. This came out before CGI rose to prominence in sci fi films. It’s refreshing to see real martial arts in action flicks. I used to try to emulate a lot of these moves when I was in Han Mu Do in my youth. Good times.

Many say Batman or Darkman are their Dark Heroes. The Guyver has always been my favorite sonce an early age... Anime series is legendary & 2 feature 90s films were ahead of their time. During an era when mainstream super hero movie's weren't popular at all, quite the opposite at the time. I of course was on the ball abd got many early at the time... Guyver is still my favorite Dark Knight !!!

Steve Wang has a passion for this anime, also the work he put in his projects is insane. Tbh I like the camerawork, some simple tricks did a lot of good for the movie. The sound effects are not cheesy, they were in accord with the anime. I just love the music introduction of the villain (although we have seen him, we haven't seen him with a guyver unit) and the intense closeups in it - oh I just love it. The claw scratching his chest - a sign of impatience, even the laughing is not exaggerated for me, as everyone involved knows this is the Ultimate Weapon in the hands of a Zoanoid.

Yep, but the cool thing is... They could always bring him back. Remember in the first movie the control metal had a copy of the users DNA and rebuilt the body 👀 perfect way to start a new entry some old team digs him up.. and the Guyver needs to come out of retirement!

Then he drops it to the ground and it's basically like a dead weight because I think he deactivated it to stop it from regenerating and bringing Crane back to life later.
