If we're talking about in BGs then what did they expect qing up for a BG fresh lvl 10??? I get it if you're a lvl 10 twink but other than that it's never a good idea to q for BGs till you're at least in the upper half of the level bracket. Just go lvl THEN q up.

by the way: it all scales so well, because the scaling stays the same from level 1 to 10. So it just doesn't get any better at level 1 and being level 11 makes it a lot worse already.

back in the day, me and my 3 rogue dudes were wrecking havoc in 10-19 bracket. sapping those who were the last to go to the horde tunnel and waiting like sharks, deciding who to kill first was priceless :)

I remember old twinking. It was epic back in the day. Usually you only see one or two on each side. And it was mass slaughter. Now everyone does it so it’s really not twinking. What the bear is doing is what should be called twinking now. He his killing the wannabes

I think bots ruined it. There wasn’t a huge infection of them back in the day and now there is grinding BOEs for RMT it’s much more common and almost encouraged by blizzard even. So what was once a grind for gold or rare item drops is now just a trip to the AH on your main.

I remember old twinking. It was stupidly unfair and by Wrath all low level BG's became full of twinks so then Blizzard had to make BGs give EXP to stop twinks from ruining them. Twinks whined, but it was for the better. Now the twinks can fight against each other fair and square in their own 'EXP locked' brackets. Frankly the state of the game has been so horrible for over a decade that low LVL pvp is never going to get to the level of balance it used to have.

Blizzard is at fault for their "rating" stats which scale ridiculous at low levels. And the item level of new items in an expansion. Had a 79 Hunter with greens and blues from cata when it was the most recent expansion, had insane haste and like 80% crit unbuffed. My pet could 2 shot players by itself and you can't imagine the fun 79 twinks had in bgs because the item level and stats of the new 79 greens and the early 79 rares out of cata dungeons blew even icc25hc gear out of the water.

Attempts to "balance" the game ruined it so many years back for me. It just took the fun out of trying to have creative builds. Everything just became formulaic. I remember when getting the slowest weapon possible for rogue attacks was huge, but then they changed the formula so that weapon speed really didn't matter anymore. Seeing that this cocaine bear is possible makes me so excited to possibly try the game again. But I'm sure there's a ton of catches of just how much they've streamlined and sanded the game down to a chore since the mid 2000s.

This work on higher expastion also, The may go past even MoP expastion. Never tested my self above it. But 1-10 level in gear in Vanilia-MoP should work really good.

4:00 That was the appeal of old WoW, I would say to about Legion when it just became about top end content and gearing became pretty one note. Its something I miss about WoW when I play FFXIV, There's nothing really like it there although theres a lot of other content

I miss my full BIS 70 hunter twink. ~75% crit chance, explosive shot dealing enough to kill most players on its own. I'd duel max level characters (85 at the time) and stand a chance a lot of the time. Farming graveyards in BGs spamming multishot applying serpent sting like I'm farming quest mobs. I'd queue for dungeons in my free time to help boost people in the community. I could solo 70 heroics and all of the wotlk dungeons I could queue for faster than the groups could keep up with me. Transferred to join a 70 raiding guild in my free time. Always full pots/flasks, consumables, legendary bow. Some of the most fun I've ever had playing wow

back in shadowlands i managed to gear my level 50 (previous bfa with 117 ilvl) up to 180 ilvl with reputation gear from the shadowlands, as a level 50 180 ilvl was the entry ilvl for a level 60 shadowlands season 1, i spent one and a half season destroying people in bgs with 40% haste and enough mastery to get up to 71 yards range attack with the pvp talent that increases your range by 40%, before i finishing the gearing i used to kill people in world pvp, before flying, that was such a fun time but eventually i finished gearing and came back to kill level 50 in bgs (Transfered to a bfa account) and used convenant spells with shadowlands gear against people in a bracket where the entry item level was around 50 at the time i am one to blame they needed to came back for fixing the item required level half way into the shadowlands expansion

lvl 19 is all from lvl 10 to 19 Just like lvl 20 is in bg with lvl 29. And all bg you will see only max lvl even if you are only like 15 it will show you are lvl 19 :)

As a xpoff-enthusiast, I would like to add that we don't break the game, but make clever use of game mechanics. Everything works exactly as the tooltips state (mostly, looking at you, infinitely divisible ooze) It is so much fun, although we are at the mercy of Blizzard redoing scaling at any point without warning or even a line in the patchnotes. The borked scaling at level 10 has been an issue ever since. And even now in Retail. And Blizzard knows. I just have to assume it's not big enough of an issue to warrant re-balancing.
