The drunk effect is causing DC's like that because of the boat being tight, the drunk effects desync where you actually are compared to the server, it probably thinks he is in a wall. You can easily force this to happen in retail by drinking anything and dragonriding, you will get spam dc'd

Different parts are harder in different ways. In terms of mechanics of fights and the skill floor and ceiling of each class, retail blows classic out of the water. Current endgame content is very difficult and it is causing issues for the game. Leveling in retail is so much easier they shouldn't even be compared. Even high level dungeons while leveling are easier because scaling is fucked. That said, only things changed are the debuff cap and dual spec. Both of which are only healthy for the game.

@@bongchoof lol, Retail literally holds your hand as you play your class. Now, maybe max max tier dungeons harder, but that's because they added harder and harder modes for the same dungeons. Classic just doesn't have that. However, I don't know if they ever released Naxx again on it's original difficulty level. IIRC, only 0.5% of players ever completed Naxx on it's most difficult release. I could be wrong, maybe they released it that way and people are spanking it. Now, for context, I'm getting more and more disassociated with Retail, so what I know of it become less and less as when I try to force myself to play Retail, I just find it disgusting to play. Last time I logged into Retail, the most exciting thing going on was people were mounting different mounts in front of an npc for "prizes". I was like, 'NOPE, back to classic.'

@@l337pwnage agreed, i fell off the retail boat many expacs ago because you just get sick and tired of playing after barely 3 weeks in everything feels catered to people who don't want to invest any serious time or effort into earning things you just get epics for doing 10 minute world quests and it lost the feel of 'warcraft'. Every time i go back to classic though I get this instant rush of wanting to play more and more. Even if the levelling takes a long ass time. It's all the more rewarding even getting power ups in early levels because it just feels like you earn it every time you get something. Retail is just an entirely different beast at this time. I don't feel any connection playing it compared to playing classic

The rumsey bug never went away. You have to change your graphic settings. You either change your blur settings, or you set your max foreground FPS to whatever your monitor refresh rate is.

Because its zone dependant. Go to STV and take one. I bet u 500$ it dcs u. I tested it yesterday. After using 3 rumsey rum in STV 2 of them i dced multiple times during the drunk effect. Outside STV its pretty safe all but like one other zone i cant remember

In the 22:50 troll clip, this is a perfect example of not understanding when a situation has gone wrong. You have a two pull, that's intentional. You saw the third guy run out, and he ran away. I'd be staring at him to see if he aggros me or pulls more. If anything got pulled, or anything else patted nearby, I am immediately using my escape options (playing Shaman, so taunt totem + frost shock + slow totem when the taunt breaks), and leaving LONG before there's a chance to get 5, 6, or 7 monsters chasing us. These people seemed like they weren't sure it was dangerous until they were already dead.

Seems like when he pulled the crypt fiend, that fiend pulled the banshee and after that the banshee pulled the next fiend... So pretty much 100% of the fault lies on mr. warrior here 😅 the Hunter actually was able to pretty much tank one of the mobs on his pet so he was waaaay more valuable for the group than the 'tank'
