Just did this (2021), and your vid helped a LOT. One thing I think they changed, you can no longer wait up top during Mad King says, apparently. It kept teleporting me back down each time I ran up. I ended up dying because I couldn't fight back, but just rezzed there in the instance and the Mad King says game was over. Then the fight of attrition began. Guardian so OP for stuff like this.

Had the same problem. Everytime standing around WP I where TP back on ground level, so there is no idea to stand there at WP. I had also two gates spawnning with mobs, to it gets nearly impossible to do those emote without getting killed. It is the first time doing this ATM event, so can't tell if anything have changed, but MK have a lot of pumpkin bombs and scarecrow AOE that spawn right under and around him, so it is nearly impossible to avoid taking damage while keeping in melee range for FB (most skills are close range incl virtues).

LOL Nice guide! I was able to finish the mad king on the 2nd floor after he descended to the bottom I died in the jumping puzzle and I noticed that he went back to the 2nd floor instead.

4:08 I choose different path here. Behind the little building(at 3:36) you can jump down all the way to a chest-like stone(?) then approach the mad king. I think that way is much safer. I use same path with you at first try and fail lol

Yes, Northeast corner! You see a bunch of Halloween vendors, drooburt the Quaggan Ghost, and a bunch of Halloween doors
