Very useful video thanks. How do you make sure that you don’t get a lot of items stuck as sell orders? Example: I had 1100g and spent 700g on items. After 2 days of outbidding and collecting gold I was back to 800g cash. If I keep buying new items every day I’ll have less and less liquid gold to use. When do you see your profit actually in the bank (in my case more than 1100g)? Should I make my own list of items that sell well to make sure the profit return is faster? Thanks

I really like your question because this is the spot where most people give up due to no "real income". I will simply give you example from my side. I start at 1,5k and I do my daily flipping session after im done there are two things to notice. First my gold is lower than my start point and the second is that I have a good chunk of items stuck on the TP. The day goes even without you so part of your stuck items will sell in time between your sessions and you will be closer to your orginal value but what about the rest? Well im my experience I was just relisting them after 5-6 days when I wasnt flipping you may ask now "but what about relisting cost" it stands true you will make a cost and there is a big possibility of you "losing" gold in good % of items but it's not something to be bothered by really I was able to make so much I couldnt keep track of how much exactly I was making. If you still feel unsafe doing it you can always use TP websites to track your "value" by using your initial gold, end gold and sell listings value. Profit from this method is mostly in these stuck items and that is why people are afraid of doing all of this because you won't simply go positive with flipping for one day. Sadly this is how all large scale flipping is and there isn't really anything to do about it. When spread of that scale appears you are most likely to sell something but you are also less likely to sell everything if that makes sense. If you need anything else just ask.

Thanks, that’s helpful. I’ll do as you say and relist any items which don’t sell after a week or so. I’m using gw2bltc to track flipping stats so I have a view of profit and current transactions. As an update to my example, I started with 1100g a few days ago, I now have 1250g plus 110g stuck in sell orders. Even if I relist and lose 5% on the 110g I’m still in good profit. Do you find that your liquid gold generally recovers fast enough to be able to create a full list of buy orders every day?
@zanar54146 жыл бұрын
When I was active in this method the difference at the end of the day was about 10% lower than initial value but this tends to change depending on what hour/day of the week you do it.

First of all, thanks for sharing us these videos and information! One question about the "daily" part of this: Items that appear on your list today, will probably also be profitable tomorrow. But if your old items haven't sold until then, and you order them again, get them, and list them again, then you will undercut your old listing. Sorry if badly explained, I hope you get the point. This happened to me on a few items now. Is it supposed to be like this? Thanks for any help
@zanar54145 жыл бұрын
Short answer is yes this will happen. How can you deal with it? You either wait till they sell or you relist. My rule of relisting is that you relist old items if you no longer can keep with your current doings. It can happen for various reasons that you run out of gold. All of my methods if done correctly will give you the safety net so its way harder to actually lose gold. In reality tho i know that many people wont do it correctly. You can always drop said item and let it sit for a longer while if it doesnt sell take your gold back by relisting and move into others. Sadly this is part of flipping aka knowing what will flip. Trial and error

Hey Zanar, very useful video - thank you for sharing your flipping method :) Liked & Subbed Not sure if you're still answering questions, but I have one. I've been using your method for the past couple days, however I started with a much lower liquid amount of gold to flip with - 100g only. (hey, we've all got to start somewhere) I spent 90g on items to begin with, leaving 10% to list and outbid. After two days of flipping, I'm back to my starting liquid gold (100g), but I find I have roughly 320g worth of items frozen as listings on the TP. I'm debating two options: Should I relist my frozen items (and incur the costs / penalty to overall profit) so that I have more liquid to flip more items in less time? If so, how long should I wait before relisting? Or should I just wait for them to sell at the cost of having less liquid and flipping less frequently. If so, how long do you find it takes frozen items to sell? I'm not sure which option would net me the most amount of gold as quickly as possible. Thanks for your time :)
@zanar54143 жыл бұрын
This particular one should be done with a starting point between 1500-200g and now you fully understand why.. the frozen items are the reason. At the points of gold I mentioned you wouldnt really care about these frozen items and they would sell overtime. There is no strict rule how long does 1 item sell for due to way many variables in the calcus. If you want a solid tip I would recommend the other Fast Velocity video is oriented more about your current gold range. As for the stuck items.. flipping is literally "You are earning money with your time" but then again if you have something else in mind that will outdo potential loses with future profits you should cut these close and just keep growning. There is no reason to be a stuck in place.. try finding something that will keep on giving everyday..

@zanar54146 жыл бұрын
In my opinion lists shouldnt be used for flipping like this because the market can change in span of one day and you don't want to fall back. When im flipping anything (expection being golden eggs) im using settings instead of lists so that way no matter what day of the year is it I will find good items that will work in a way I want them to work(be it fast or slow) overall its just safer to do it that way.
@youngsinatra26454 жыл бұрын
do you do this over the span of a day? as in, do you usually buy in the morning and then sell at night? or are the results over the course of several days? thanks
@zanar54144 жыл бұрын
15:13 in the video on Subtitles you can see that my end results were achieved from 20 days of doing this. When you are attempting on doing fast velocity you are expected to "watch over" your buy orders and constatly outbid and list items for 1-3h daily which basically means you sit in front of the Trading Post and flip.. Ofc this is only required when you want to reach my numbers. You can modify it as you see fit mostly because we all can spend different amount of time on it.
@davidaymond31125 жыл бұрын
what do you do with the buy orders that are not fulfilled after the outbidding part? when is the best time/day to do this?
@zanar54145 жыл бұрын
Looking at the fact that the outbidding is happening constantly you are supposed to do it till it gets fulfiled. As for best time all my methods are created in such way that you should be able to do them at any time given. Ofc this is not that easy for example while flipping exotics you will suffer from weekly rotation in this market mostly related to raids. If you do each method for 2-3 weeks you will notice all patterns so dont worry about this that much it comes with experience.
4 жыл бұрын
If I understand correctly you are doing a 2 hours session per day for 2 months to achieve this. What would happen if you would do lower amount, like for example half an hour? Does the method still work, just with lower income in the same timeframe? Or with lower amount of time commitment it breaks somehow?
@zanar54144 жыл бұрын
Its meant to be as a daily money making method. The take you see in video is one of tiers that are possible with Fast Velocity. Tiers are depending on two factors gold and time. In this example if you were to do it in shorter time frames your results will be worse but it should work similar. I cant say it will work the same because both huge spread so 200+ unique items and you spending time buying items (basically time frame) plays a huge role in this. If you want to try something easier try even faster items than these. My other Fast Velocity video covers that for example.

@zanar54145 жыл бұрын
@@alcin53 Thats where many people struggle. This is related to basic principe of the flipping process. You should be more than aware that you cant possibly sell everything you post on trading post with this being said when doing any larger flipping (as you climb gold) you will have more and more items stuck the goal is to get enough to get sold so you can cover the items being stuck in there. You gain gold by repeating this process for long enough so the stuck items sell. At one point you should relist or even quicksell items that got stuck cant really run away from it.

@@zanar5414 So the key is just to keep selling and buying items and once in a while, either relist them or instant sell? Should you instantly sell those items or relist them? And I assume you shouldnt leave them if they arent getting sold because the market isnt really going to change that much?
@zanar54145 жыл бұрын
@@alcin53 These kind of items i showed up in the video I did discounts on them. Every week or two when there is gathered enough (and I see for sure what didnt sell) I would search by names and would delist in that manner so when im done I will get all of them added with single click (same type same name) then I can see a number from 3-15 and I can decide what type of discount I need to take. Aside from their pure number you also need to see current price gap and overall price. Then its up to you what you decide aka how low you place them. There are times im placing items so low they will only cover the 5% fee.

If they arent selling for 2 weeks+ consider relisting but at the same time remember that if you dont need this gold now simply let em sit. If you can afford to keep going each day even with items stuck if you do it for long enough your profits> stuck items and you will create a perfect loop that your gold stays at the same but your listings grows = profit.
