Man I always seem to learn something new when I watch one of your videos. I never knew that instant-cast ground targeting had an advantage other than being faster. Nice series! I know you said something about after this video you were done with build videos, i think it would be cool if you took a handful of the build videos and did just roaming and fights with the builds, seeing your rotations, how you engage with the builds and just seeing it in action i think would be a really cool way for seeing the builds in action

I was just about to build this for my engi, by then I noticed "most of the gameplay revolves around Vision sigil"... 3s duration, 20s CD, that means you give good damage only what, 20% of the time in combat, and the remaining 80% you're below 50% crit chance.. isn't that too little, or am I missing something?

How is condition damage calculated? What happens if you gain might while the opponent is burned for example, does the burn dmg increases?

yes it will give you the damage of your current condi modifier for each tick, but if you gain condition duration it wont change the duration retroactively

I don't think Elexir U is that good in pvp, hence why I go for C instead. You lose a stunbreak and some superspeed but with this build you pretty much have 0 condi cleanse that you can control.

Can you have 2 swap sigils on the same weapon?

if they are of different intensity, so a major and a superior sigil will work

@@Neocharm oh you mean if two types work, yes people often run 4 swap sigils, 2 on each weapon, so long as the weapon you are swapping to does not have repeated swap sigils the unique ones work

Vallun you need to drop that toughness done you are losing so much damage. You just need dura rune and like amulet for your toughness, if you are a good scraper it is so easy to kit and survive while droping those grenades. But none the less great video and #hammer4lyfe.

just my two cents,, the target audience for these non-main stream builds (or alternatives of such) are probly the mediocre skilled crowds,, he wants them to feel at least successful maybe half of the time with the build.. cos im one of these people lol

I play these builds for no more than a week before I decide on their final form which is what I get the best results on. If someone who plays and mains scrapper ffinds better results with a more risky set up, thats fine, and they can offer their suggestions as well. At the end of the day none of this is mandatory and its just teaching how builds work. You decide what to play using your judgment, which may include my advice. Also if my advice is only so tenable, then other people commenting on my videos is at least as questionable :)

@@doolearn That i already know, i am not saying that his build is bad, just giving out some notes from a player that played engy since beta and has 8 engy toons and plays mostly off-meta engy, mainly core, builds. Not to be insulting but one of the common mistake when peeps plays scrapper is that they over stack toughness.

I know that those builds are just made and played in a small window of time but i do get excited when i see engy video, they are extremely rare to find especialy roaming. I have 8 engy toons and i still learn stuff from others that play my class.

@@sirdrunknor6565 I've seen quite a few of these nade scrappers, actually. I put up a quick video clip of a pair of them who like to roam around and ambush together from stealth causing near-instant downs. They aren't as tanky as you expect from a scrapper because they're running full glass, but the pressure from just spamming nades and CC is so ridiculous that coming out of stealth in a coordinated pair it's difficult to recover unless you see them coming! In the video clip my friend and 1 other rando from our team get insta-downed out of stealth and I barely manage to defeat the two scrappers on my own with my fire weaver. Anyway, great video as always, Vallun! You're very informative with your builds!
