Can someone explain how the delayed shadowshot works?

Cast shadow shot while your opponent is in animation or just about to go to stealth. The shadowshot then follows him even if he enters stealth. You can miss however if you get your timing wrong or have blind on you

But for example here 1:27 the other thief ist literally in stealth already It doesnt look like hes still in animation It might be that he buffers it during his own dodge? And the cast only goes off after he finishes dodging? Im not sure but that looks like the only plausible explanation Maybe someone can explain

@@huanson3851 The thing you are asking is can be understood by watching it carefully, it requires lots of practice and being precise is very important with your positioning + casting your shadowshot meanwhile dodging at 1:27 I must say it is one of the most hardest shadowshots I have landed so far because it is 2x and very precisely done with timing and positioning myself also 7:14 is pretty much same

Well if you are maining s/d you better ask to Yama about that because I super rarely play s/d when it comes to DP SA, SE trait works really good and you should be pistol 5 blind while in and out of stealth in order to prevent cc or more condi while cleansing

R55 members aren't exactly on top of their game anymore, I mean you cant really blame them. They were playing the game from the beginning, they all took multiple long breaks and simply just not practicing dueling anymore. They were the goat for a while, but everything comes to an end. For being the best talent is not enough if you dont put in the hours. Which they did, but skills fade overtime.

My guy all they do play 15 people game mode where they swap teams between each other apart from that also playing vs bots at 4AM where they W key on the enemies they dont have actual players who gives a f about the game mode they playing pvp is a meme.

WvWvW and pvp are simply different type of content that have been forgotten by anet for a long time. (Maybe not anymore aka alliances and new mode, lets see). But thief in conquest and wvwvw have completly different roles, what they do and also balancewise. No need for wvwvw player to be so toxic to pvp players and vis versa

Your pistol 3 teleport feels pretty broken,atleats the tracking of invisible enemys. You telepotate to him even though he has already been invisible for 1 second. But since you can do it consistently, that's probably what the game wants :) Well played

you can start casting shadowshot when he is not in stealth, so the animation just goes through and "tracks" in stealth. Then you know also his approximate position to follow up on the attack
