My old desktop died last fall, so my last Thief video was played and recorded and edited on my laptop lol. I have been trying to learn how to play Elementalist so I have a lot of clips to see if I can slap something together I'm happy with. For gear I use a mix of Zerker and Marauder for my main armor, Pack rune, and for trinkets I use Zerker/Soldier mix and as many WvW Might runes as I can afford lol. For Longbow and Greatsword just Zerker. Thanks for the compliment on the editing, that means a lot! You're right, it is a lot of Thief and Necro - to be fair I do call it "Thief Hunter" in the video title, and the vast majority of other solo roamers I come across are Thieves / Necros / Rangers lol. I do try to take every and any fight I see, sometimes the clips just turn out that way that it's mostly these classes. You know how it is in WvW lol. Cheers!

Hey there! Thank you for checking out the video, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I use a mix of Exotic, Ascended, and a couple Legendary items. If you are playing with all Ascended or better, you'd probably be able to do even more damage and have better stats in general :)

As far as the blue circle, I think you may just be talking about the server indicator at that time. Absolutely. I'm not a Ranger main (tho I do play him somewhat often depending on mood) - so one of my buddies asked me to check a couple builds out that were slightly modified from the Sic Em build I was already running for bag farming. This is the build as I run it now, I didn't bother messing with the buffs really, but I think this gives the gist. Has anyone come across fake rangers in wvw? Is it even possible using a different character to copy rangers specialized abilities as well as his pets for longer than 5 minutes?

I'm not sure I understand the question, are you saying you have seen a player using Ranger abilities / pets and they weren't actually a ranger? If so, I haven't seen anything like that, no. I have seen a good handful of exploits and hacks in WvW, nothing like that, tho (that I know of) Thanks for interacting with the video tho, hope you enjoyed whatever you watched of it!

I'm sure it may be possible, I just don't know much about hacks or exploits and kind of only know them when I see them (floor / port / fly hacks) - I am wondering about the details of what you saw now, tho, and what it was that made you think it might have been someone using all Ranger stuff but not actually playing a Ranger

Some rune sets give you pets, you may have seen it.

@@dmitriy5450 - yes but non that I know of give you smoke scale. I only know of 1 rune set that gives you a small little pet not related to ranger at all. Do you know of any runes that provides additional pets provided to ranger that can be used for a different class? 🤔 what is have seen is players using 2 class abilities. I use ranger and I know the rangers limits. People will have rangers abilities along with ranger pets in addition to other abilities not offered to ranger. Wonder how that is possible. Someone suggested it could be hackers.

My Soulbeast build is geared with a mix of Marauder and Zerker gear. I could get more damage by going more glass cannon, but against players who don't die instantly from RF, I wanted a little more survivability, and for +1 situations. How would you get more damage out if you were me? Just more Zerker gear? I actually wanted to make a Ranger video with about half Soulbeast, half Druid, but couldn't really get many Druid clips at all that weren't cloud situations. So I just threw the one Druid clip in for a little tiny bit of variety. Sorry if that bothered you tho lol. Thanks for watching and interacting with the video!
