Gw2- Revert Ele dagger, CMC/Roy please stop this madness!

This isnt even abnormal, we tested a lot of different situations of just using dagger normally and you could just walk away every single time. This was with fireworks rune but you could sometimes just walk away with base movement speed, revert the dagger changes anet! I might make a video talking about this entire patch and how almost everything in it was a bad change, but I honestly dont really care too much at this point.

yea that change made me super sad too. for different reasons, and different game modes. Condi dagger weaver was always my favourite build ever, and the control you lose over your kit with that change made it completely awful to play, every where, and in every game mode, pve, pvp and wvw.

but did you consider the extra dps you'll do against the tower/keep/castle lords for those extra scaled rewards? DID YA?

Damn I never realized that anet had planned for all the changes to work together so well… I got outplayed ;-;

Was that an intended change? I never read patch notes honestly (tho I admittedly probably should)

Definitely should read those notes, although it will make you sad every patch. Ignorance is bliss I guess? Anyways the intended change was that the dagger movement skills would track a target and stop when it reached them, I assume to increase usability for pve dps builds. But now you can actually walk away from the dagger move skills which were their main source of dmg/combo potential. Basically mainland dagger is now almost useless for duels.
