Gw2 - The life of a solo roamer #5

This is indisputable, undeniable proof, that I am in fact a teleport hacker. Also I don't have any problems with the people in the end of the video, I just thought it would be entertaining to put those clips in. I started playing again like 2 weeks ago and my goal is to make another dh outnumbered roaming vid, and after that who knows.

I learned all the little tricks I do from solo roaming so much and always being outnumbered. I think I have like 17k hours between all my accounts

@@aeroblizz1987 I think some people have like 40k hours into the game....well ur fun could be different then my fun. I don't really like thief or ele gameplay but you could love it for all I know. Playing a variety of classes is what's fun for me. I like spellbreaker sometimes, but other times I get tired of it being full melee and always chasing after people. I think vindicator is really easy/strong right now, especially if you run salvation. Or just like any cele build really. Willbender does a ton of DMG fast so maybe that's a good one too

I knew about shadowsteps to passive creatures for getaways before, but pre-locking targets on T target for wall hops to escape outnumbered fights. Jesus and i'v play this game for 5 years, still learning new tricks. Keep it up by'

I think I've been doing it this way since HOT came out back when I used to main dh. I didn't like getting 5v1ed so I learned these tricks and would experiment a lot on where I could and couldn't teleport to/through

@@Olvrin Merciful intervention is a ground target like blink on mesmer or the lightning step on ele...so it might work on some of the cannons you own, but idk. I do know you can cast a spirit weapon and use merciful to teleport to it.

Ty...and yeah between the people left playing and the balance of the game, i can usually only play wvw for like 2-3 months a year now. Its fun for a bit but then it gets old

I wish the game was able to register the hits and their source and realize it is from one player only. The rally system at that point should just be different and allow for no downstate and have the player lose the chance to get up and you can get your deserved kill after putting in all the work.

Ty! I just like playing dh. I like the feel of it and how the traps give you good area control. It's not very good in this cele meta tho ..I mainly just run away from cele builds 1v1. Also I just wanted to make a dh roaming vid since I didn't like my last one too much...that's the main reason I'm playing dh over WB atm

I haven't played power herald in awhile, so I'm not sure. I know in the past 2 weeks of roaming, I've only seen like 2 power heralds. My friend plays a sword/shield and GS power herald build and says it works well but loses to most cele builds I really like playing power herald too, but I like it more for duels/1v1s then I like it for roaming. I'm sure you could make it work for roaming and find some success on it tho.

@@ezellohar_caranthir so the default keybinds for putting a target on something is Ctrl+T and when u hit T it goes to the thing you targeted. Usually when people are in a party together, they do it to quickly show the other party members who/what to attack

I don't swap it mid combat. I just set up the target beforehand and don't change it so it's there when I need it. Ctrl+t to put a target on something and hit t to go to that target

There is so much BS in the game, from teleporting through walls, up cliffs, across cliffs, etc.... the game is nasty! Playing warrior is a nightmare in WvW against thieves, mesmer, elementalist, necros, guardians all of them have BS teleports, this game is a freaking joke!

Bladesworn has a small teleport if I'm not mistaken 👍. I play spellbreaker too and it does get annoying sometimes just trying to chase everything down. But if you land a magebane tether you can pull them back to you when they try to tp away
