i have played this build during years and years, it was absolutely amazing. The REAL problem that is has been so so nerfed ... the beautiful thing of this class was that u could play it simply and do the job, and make a lot of tricky things and be an absolutely beast. It was a rewarding class. U invest in scrapp, u became the best heal / support. Now everything has been nerfed, and the big problem is that from now on, everything is more difficult on scrapper than others classes. There is absolutely no reason to play this class anymore, and really i am the first guy really sad about that, i used to love scrapper so much ! Now Less heal, Less buffs, less clean, and all of that is more difficult than other classes. I really think that this class need a buff, and for that, no one should play it until they see that scrapper has disappear in WvW

Played something similar to this for a month or so in summer, with some differences Blast Gyro in place of Shredder Gyro for stacking might (14 stacks by itself), extra fury, and a solid CC in melee. Also gives a party stunbreak with superspeed on the toolbelt Experimental Turrets trait instead of Soothing Detonation, as SD winds up being a very minor heal and the boons from the turrets in melee are a bit more valuable in my opinion (although I normally detonated pretty quick for the blast before they die). Also gives bubbles on turrets Mass Momentum trait instead of Gyroscopic Acceleration, I think either works but I preferred the small stab Finally I used Relic of the Flock for the 3k barrier on healing skill, but Antitoxin probably equally valuable for the extra cleanse

@@metallonegw2283 what he means is shredder + purge gyro combos into more cleanses, so without shredder combo finisher, you will fall behind a lot on the cleanse department

9:20 bandage blast doesn't leave bandages to pick up anymore, it's just a projectile that heals when they touch someone

I have never been able to get a good explanation for why Sigil of Energy is used on most builds. I have never found it particularly useful myself and have a hard time justifying dropping a 10% heal increase. Is there a perspective maybe i am not seeing here? Do big fight guilds build or plan around that extra dodge or something?

Dodging basically makes you invulernable, if you have stability. The more you live , the more you stay alive and support your party , your party doesn't die. Most of the time the extra dodge is not planned, but it really can save you without you realizing it. Also some classes , like firebrand, have strong heals on dodge, or condi cleanse, or something like that, which make energy even more worth. 10% extra healing is decent but it doesn't really allow you to make "plays" , it's just a passive increase of your healing, which is of course very good, but being alive is more important.

I don't remember if protection cleanses when procced by PoP. If it does then yeah it's the best option. If it's not, I had played with the idea of HGH and Elixir C for the AoE conversion in the toolkit and the overall Elixir might in Gun.

I scrapped my heal scrapper months ago. Druid does the job better in terms of heal and cleanses and Druid has aoe rez better than that gyro rez. The reason scrapper was meta before was not because of the heal but because of the mass invisibility that could be blasted. Once that was nerfed, there's just no reason to take a scrapper in place of a Druid or a tempest.

since scrapper lose its ability to keep up its projectile bauble wherever it goes, it's not able to comparable with either tempest or druid. beside cleanses and healing, boons and reflective shielding that tempest provides is number one. i love whole auras, they are all useful tho. but still, seeing the scrapper is coming back again makes me cheerful.

anyway druid and tempest much effective now much easer in use. so....nowadays there is no place for healscrap anymore only for fun and for non serious fights

@@C0ldZilla what do you mean? Tempest is probably my most played support, what i wanted to say is that tempest is not that good as most people might think. In raw heals, it's probably the worst secondary support.

​@@metallonegw2283 agree but who says tempest is a healer? Tempest as it is primarily offers strong auras, perma protection, cleansing, alacrity, and massive amount of blinds. Tempest gives less healing then druid and healscrap, so yeah tempest is not a healer. But everything I've listed, healscrap won't provide and thats why a healscrap highly situational role.and 90% of the time it is not used anywhere, even on the gvg scene it is very rare .
