Not having a mace is a big no no because u want to apply as much aegis as possible to block enemy bursts not only for yourself but for allies too + u apply protection to reduce the dmg even further. Also if there is a Tempest in the group i would say Signet of Mercy is a waste of utility slot because i would rather have Firebrand with Sanctuary, Condi remove Mantra or reflect barier than with Ress for one person when there is Tempest with a Glyph that is 20x better than Signet of Mercy. Also having good boon duration is more important than good heals on firebrand because you are there to apply aegis and stability as a first thing so consider boon duration sigils to max out the stability and protection duration.

Does boon duration really matter in wvw when boons are getting removed all the time?

You don't need mace. With traits you can have a 93% prot uptime. Pulls are higher value in that case when you can give aegis with mantra and shield.

@@iBaraban depends, because every boon removal has dif order of boon removals so that means some will strip stability as one of the first ones and some as one of the last boons so yeah boon duration is important

@@jon091201 blocking lets say 10k dmg of Arc Divider and by that many times saving your teammates is imo worth more than a pull with a long cooldown. Also protection is many times removed during the fight so having another source for ur whole party is more than good.

I dont use Axe in Zerg. Mace is the best option it saved our teams so many times.

With the poor amount of healing we do, isn't it better to go wanderer instead of minstrel ? We would still have shit dmg but a much better survivability, especially theses day with thoses vindi heal jumping and bubbling around

I'd take the "risk" to overheal allies instead of boosting my damage from 10k to 20k: our weaponsets are just bad for damage, and even with wanderer you will have a very low crit chance (like 25 with fury) and even if you crit, you have 0 ferocity. Imo just stick with minstrel.

Why do you use stand your grand shout instead of hold the line? I feel like those conditions are bit more usefull, wdyt?

Stand your ground is one of the best skills in the game for WvW, and as a firebrand your role is mostly to provide stability, so it's mandatory to have it. There are other classes which can give permanent protection and regeneration

as much as i enjoy your video descriptions the boon blob gvg are boring smaller engagements are alot more enjoyable and having 40 wearing monks and minstrels is not really that fun.
