GW2 WvW - Support Scrapper is god-tier!

Scrapper is back to the meta since the changes it received few months ago, together with the addition of the shortbow. After several weeks of testing, on and off, it's pretty safe to say it's the most well rounded secondary support, with insane condi cleansing, big heals , insane boon spam , with good barriers and also triple stability!

I absolutely love support scrapper, this build is amazing. I went from charging in and dying to literally turning the tide of battles in our favor. I was super sketch about the short bow, but my LORD does that thing go crazy in WvW. Especially when you take the time to read the tool tips and understand that each arrow has a different combo field effect, my favorite is 5 into 4 and 3 into 2 (for when condis are going crazy). Very nice!

I made a scrapper many motnths back but didn’t do much but max out weaponskith and get a whole set of berserker gear and said I’ll eventually put time into this class and here we are. Been mostly playing scrapper the past several weeks in various amounts of content and I love the fact you can have so many diff play styles with scrapper. Right now I’m mostly using hammer with wells gyros and I’m loving it but when it gets to be large amounts of enemy I’ll start spamming mines more often and switch to mortar. Mortar doesn’t seem too strong but when I get so many diff buffs constantly it makes mortar a easy safe thing to use. Also love the fact skill 5 keeps my group alive simply from 1 shot and I’m good to go. I’ll be playing scrapper for a good bit as I love it more and more I play. Maxed out mechanist skills which is cool but I don’t really care to much about it but now I need to finish holosmitj. The last several weeks I’m seeing a lot more holosmiths someone told me they got a change or buff idk

I keep going back and forth between scrapper and druid lately. In a vacuum I know scrapper is better because it offers the barrier, but the druid main in me finds it hard to walk away.
