Thanks for the feedback mate. This part of the website is very new, I only wrote it during the offseason, so there’s no explanations anywhere as it’s not yet finalised. The symbols next to the names are coloured according to the players rank in terms of the various key FPL returns, i.e. goals (football), top assister (gift box), top clean sheets (shower) etc. I’m still messing around with the colours, but currently: 1st: purple, 2nd: dark blue, 3rd: light blue, Top 4-10: silver (4-10 being position dependent).

Hey Steven mate how are you going? Couple of quick questions Now that Bart Verbruggen is back from injury, as he will most likely be a starter in that Brighton defense do you reckon he now becomes the best 4.5 keeper in the game even over the likes of Henderson, Flekken and Areola. Also, what do you think of the likes of Wissa from Brentford at 6.1 mil? With Ivan Toney leaving to Saudi soon Brentfords fixtures look really really good from GW6-GW13 so we will be getting a 6.1 starting striker for Brentford really soon.

It sounds like Verbruggen will be the No 1., but I’d like to see it happen before considering him. And sorry, but I don’t yet have enough notes built up on Hurzler’s defensive shape, so I’m unsure how to rank Brighton in relation to Palace, Brentford & West Ham yet. I see the Ivan Toney transfer went through today, so Wissa looks like a great option at 6.1m. They seem to manage his minutes though, so he’s going to be a 65-75 minute man. I don't think I'd by Wissa though because I don't think I'll want to double up on the Brentford attack, and I think Mbeumo is the better of the two options as he’s a 90 minute man, will have pens, and will play up front when Wissa is subbed off.

The only reason I’m not going for Trent is I don’t want too much money in defence. He’s a great player and bound to get returns, so if you’re coveting him and don’t have any Liverpool defensive coverage for the upcoming run, I think it’s a good hit. Palmer will need to keep pace with Salah though, and captaincy will come into it too.

​@@barnz4523 Owning Palace defence has me comfortable enough with the Palmer captaincy decision, so I’m running with him. 🎲 So now I'm not only going against Salah having ditched him, I'm also going against the points of Haaland too. This could go horribly wrong 😂🙈 I think it’s going to be a season of bouncing around the premium assets, so Salah is gone for now, but he will almost certainly be back.

I have the same thoughts on Palmer captaincy. I figured that we already have enough differential having him in the team - no need to double down.

I’ve had time to think about it and I think Palmer has a decent shot at the most points this gameweek. No Andersen at Palace is actually pretty big for them and their new partnerships will take a while to gel, hence my divestment afterall. And if Chelsea generate just as much movement as they did against Wolves, I can see scenarios where there’s men free all over the place, and Palmer could have a field day with that. 🤤 Plus, maybe it’s actually a good time to take Haaland on? West Ham aren’t going to try anything too dangerous against them at home as they won't want to get battered, and they’re such a good counter attacking team that they will probably set out with that as their game plan and target the main way that City seem to concede, during fast breaks. If Palmer does manage to bang a hattrick or similar this gameweek, way more managers are going to be inclined to go with a Palmer captaincy in future, which will also reduce the rank impact when we hit the sweet spot with a big haul on Palmer. So the only real reason I can see to not captain him is the fear of Haaland’s EO. Well that, and what we know Haaland can do of course. ☠ And, if come Monday, Haaland has 8 points & Palmer has 12, I think I’d be way more annoyed not having the captaincy on Palmer than I would if the points were reversed & I did captain him. So, I guess I’m doubling down 😅🎲

Great start! 💪 I held onto Munoz because I think Chelsea will probably concede and he’s got a decent enough shot at being involved. 🎲 Well that, and he's lower owned so less likely to drop in value & he's got Leicester next week. I'd be tempted to play Johnson and see how Fulham deal with the man to man system Ipswich seem to be using, but I'm sure there would be ESR & Muniz owners that are rating their chances at returns this week. I think both teams probably concede, so I'd play whichever team you think is more likely to finish an assist for you?

You are right, it is more likely than not that Arsenal will lose their clean sheet in GW4 & GW5, but I think they have a decent enough shot at keeping clean sheets in both to have me still making the move. Part of his role in my team is to block the clean sheets of Gabriel & Saliba owners, which do sometimes happen against the tougher opponents. Plus, I’m buying Raya to hold for the long term, not just until GW5.

Honestly I'm so close to taking a hit to get Raya in for Henderson as well but since I already have Gabriel (alongside TAA and Pedro Porro) I'm conflicted on whether to get Raya, Ederson or Martinez in. Another factor is I have no clue when I want to wildcard yet and given keepers don't often pay back like an attacking player would should I need it in like GW6 then it's less likely to have paid off. Conversely, Henderson hasn't even been getting saves so Raya's save points might alone pay off the hit long term so much to consider

Unless you get stung with a whole bunch of injuries you’ll probably survive past GW6 without too much fuss. And if you do get stung you could take a hit if you’re the kind of manager that takes hits. But you’re right, it’s way less likely that keepers & defenders pay back hits, so I don’t love the fact that I’ve had to do a hit for both this week and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’ve got enough reason to do so.

However i think you maybe playing up CP10 a bit too much.. without a recognised CF i think Palmer will struggle if he plays 9.. i think 10 is his best position and even better with a clinical finisher at the 9 position

​@@animal_world254 Palmer did pretty well last season with Jackson up top, and to be fair to Jackson he’s been looking good so far. I haven’t seen Jackson shoot too much but he’s been key to some of the attacks Chelsea have generated, and he set up Palmer's goal at the weekend. I’ve really only seen Palmer as a RW / dual CAM or an outright CAM, and I’ve only seen the weekends short stint with him playing as the 9. But, his ability to play people in, his finishing, his movement and most importantly, his ability to read the game, could make for an epic number 9. Fingers crossed I get to see him up top again this weekend. 🤞
