Am so sorry about this. My advice is to use people like this guy kamoga. People who have a name to lose. People who have their money already. People who have integrity. Secondly, please keep a record of every transaction made and have people acknowledge receipt for the money received. Also keep a copy of ALL documentation. That will be a starting point if you are to go in courts of law.

@@verovlogs3588 I hear you but your advice is only a component this land buying experience for diasporans. Infact even those who have never left are not saved! The real problem is in not being updated enough about the shifts in typical mindset in the society starting right from the family. After a while diasporans lose a significant level of emotional intelligence on social dynamics and those giving them updates are increasingly selective. To the point that even the kind of questions you ask to verify provided information and the way you ask them just sets you up for more problems and possibly your life being at risk. We honestly don't know who to trust anymore! or even bother to ....In my case my own biological mother who I believe took great care of was the master of the sabotage I faced .....Plus its easier said tgan done to find the right people / person. Even in government offices there is no assurance that your interests are protected. Talk less of the community where one buys the land or even the lawyers ( on both the buyer and sellers sides)! In some cases even with a legit land title deed, the buyer cant enjoy the land. In the end you have it just on paper. Buying land in Uganda now is like an unitented self inflicted gun shot wound leading to a slow and painful death! Coming back to Uganda is also like landing on a lake shore lined with inescapable crocodiles 🐊 with their mouths wide open waiting for prey with no where to pass!!!
