Build Subwoofer Boxes!

Nice build for the speaker boxes. MDF is a pain to work with. It makes an incredible amount of dust and is much heavier than you would think! I also like the sound to be heard outside the vehicle for 2 reasons. One, because I'm pretty hard of hearing (maybe from having the volume turned up load for many years) and two, so today's kids can hear what good music sounds like! I am not a bit opinionated.

your box construction is fine because you got it all together while the glue was very wet....built hundreds over the years and worked the industry back in the 90s....MDF will swell a bit with the glue..we often used drywall or deck screws bondo can be used on box corners for small gaps and hiding screw heads.. MDF is very forgiving until water gets involved...your box is well sealed/coated...but...id even spray the inside. MDF will find water in a desert and swell

When i did handyman stuff on the side I'd often get paid in a combination of money and a cardboard box with a bunch of tools, fasteners and cool junk.
