Can we just appreciate the fact that Gwen didn't just sit there and scream all the time. She helped him every chance she got to point where he had to web her to a car to stop her from helping him and even that didn't stop her. She was the complete opposite of Mary Jane in that aspect. Don't think of MJ as the one you see in Raimi movies. Real MJ of comic is Peter's equal (also she's rarely kidnapped, when she does she always turned that around or even saving Spidey). Gwen in TASM only gives you a glimpse of what Spidey's love interest should be, though note that Gwen in comic is "women in refrigerator" satellite character.

I was so disappointed at how this ended when I saw it. But then there's no closure because there was never a third one. The acting in this one is the best out of any Spider Man franchise and it was a bummer to never have any kind of finale on it.
