By the end of season 3 and through UA, he was able to make stronger armor and his strength was increased too, which was seen in pretty much all of his fights. He could even transfer his absorbed material to other people.

Gwen is actually the most powerful character ever created in Ben 10 universe. Lemme explain: I read her wiki and her powers and abilities. The pink mana which is life energy, anodites have the ability to control, posses, harness, and manipulate these life energy, that's the reason why Gwen traces anything which has life energy. She can also suck out the life energy of any living being, that means, she could possibly suck out all the energy of life throughout universe and be the strongest. It's just the creators don't want it.

As much as I love gwen, her powers, especially her force fields were severely inconsistent and it just kept pissing me off, like every time it happened I would have the urge to just yell "Girl I KNOW you can do better, you've shielded yourself from bigass explosions and lasers, a few PUNCHES shouldnt break them THAT easily" but alas...

i mean tbh there are some scenes where shes does use real magic spells in alien force and ultimate alien, she literally used a spell to go back in time, uses them to find her brother which is in the video. tbh you can tell she doesn't need to use them all the time, she manages to defeat the regular aliens on her own all in a few blasts.
