Finally! Thank you. When I first played Gwent before (years years back) my only deck was elves. I was so comfortable with it, it’s wholesome, just swarm and damage and hope for the best. Then come all these crazy trap related cards and heist which really transforms how the elves should be played. I didn’t like the direction. I was crafting some swarm elves last few days but couldn’t make it work. Your deck will help me a lot!

Always love to see an elf deck without Vanadein or heist. Would love to see your take on Devotion Firesworn. I love that deck, but it gets crushed on the ladder. What buffs do you think would help that archetype?

It looks like Helveed will be buffed in the next balance council, a buff to him would certainly help - but buffing Firesworn is tricky because the most impactful buffs (like fallen knight and Hemmelfart) help other SY decks just as much as firesworn - buffs really have to focus on cards like everlasting flame (can’t remember the exact name? the artifact) bc those cards specifically help firesworn and are not easy to throw in other decks

Maxii could let us see what we’d decoy into, but she’s mainly there to make sure we get our oneiro, simlas etc since we don’t have a lot of thinning.

That was some nice piloting against NG. It was a Dauren list if I'm not mistaken. Sadly, my ST collection is lacking too many of the key cards. ALso interesting: Community balancing encouraged Etriel and M. yet not part of your list.

They're definitely very nice in Harmony decks. I climbed to pro with those 2 cards (I love their flavor as well. Always played them side by side on the board, even if it's gonna cost me the game like Treason or something haha!).

Hi, I've been playing card games for a while now and was interested in trying out gwent. Is there any point in starting now since it's no longer supported?

Not supported just means no new cards or official esports, but if you’re new it’ll take you several years to understand all the current cards. The servers will likely stay up for at least another 5 years, so you may as well start soon.

When you say NR or NG do you mean siege engines? I did a couple NR siege decks recently. Just want to make sure I know what you mean. Also, dw about the money man. That’s not what this is all about!

@@Qcento thanks for answering! i looked it up and apparently NR only has Kerack Frigate as a ship, i for some reason thought they had more to the point that you could build a deck around them. And NG only has Imperial Fleet, but at least there you could try to make a naval deck around it, baccala, maybe Catriona and Rompally..,
