Depends. If your opponent is reckless enough to drop Scratch on the first play, Shupe Mage can steal it, heavily hobbling their whole game plan. And if they start with Defender *then* Scratch, you use Muzzle to steal the Defender, and then Shupe Knight will "randomly" kill off the cat.
