In the 2nd match against PF Warriors. In round 2 did you deliberately keep Steffan instead of Terranova for r3 just for that Coup play on Tyr? My biggest problems with any assimilate deck is defending a r2 bleed and knowing when to use leader. I usually get bled out during r2 and have to pray I have enough horses to carry me. I would like to know what your thought process is on what cards to keep and play in those scenarios.

Yes because for short round, steffan is more valueable. Beside that I didnt get good spying target so I play teranova on round 2. Me too always get bled r2. Just play vigo first hopefully he can give nauzica, then braathens, coup and save teranova/torres if possible.

Vigo into Horse is always a staple. At least it is until you get hit by Shupe dmg 13 lol. I once faced against NR shupe that decided to yoink my Horse. He regretted it after I bombarded his board with Informants. It was surreal spamming horses against a non NG enemy.

Anna Henrietta fix a lot of the leader problem when you play Enslave 6. I use her many time lately because she is so valuable in this meta. It even do nicely against many stupid NR decks. Sometimes, I even torres radovid judgment and scare the NR player off with 3 radovid on board. They don't know what to answer.

Hi, pirates not bad matchup but it's annoying. You need to remove crach immediately. But if the pirate have scenario, it will be tough

Opponent first game wasn't fully into assimilate.. he could have won the game if he couped the informant last turn instead of nova.. he could have triggered assimilate twice..

I think we've all had enough NG Assimilate now. Would be cool if you could play some less meta decks such as Wild Hunt, Vampires or maybe Dwarves.
