I became a master of Gwent in w3, learning the best strats for every deck, winning every tournament, scouring every merchant and manipulating the political machinations of the entire damn continent and affecting countless sentient lives and the course of history all so I could keep the holder of every card alive for the taking. The fate of the world hung in the balance, the time of the white frost was nigh, yet it was nothing to me compared to my pursuit of EVERY. DAMN. CARD. Honestly, this is a great video for beginners. I couldn't understand how I always ended up with 1 or 2 cards less and essentially losing the game while I had better cards than my opponents. In the end, having more cards is more important than having better cards.
@farrel_ra Жыл бұрын
Nah it greatly depends on the matchup. If u know deck type called "Midrange", they excel at both condition, but indeed it is so hard to master. Essentially, Midrange deck is one of the deck that could win even if they lose card advantage.

For starters, just pick Nifgard with lockdown ability. Then pick units with lock. There are at least 4 unit that can lock enemies. 2 bronze soldiers + 1 neutral unit + 1 witcher Then craft 2 gold units that can seize and destroy locked enemies. This way u dont need gerald or special cards to destroy high power enemy. Craft 2 master of disguise for self boosting. Artifact portal really help here. This way u can handle any enemy with order ability such as scotael or northen. But this method only works on lower rank since the higher rank players know the way to purify the lock. I use this method and won first 50 match with ease. After that it all become hard as hell. Just keep experimenting. Every faction have at least 3 or 4 base unique way to play. Good luck.

I've come to the conclusion that I just suck at CCGs like this. I didn't understand the way it played in W3, I gave it a go through Thronebreaker but I've almost NEVER won a fight against the AI in that game (thanks to CDPR for allowing you the option to auto-win battles if you don't win fairly) and I definitely can't win against real players. I've literally never won a game against a real player in Gwent, The Elder Scrolls Legends or Chronicle: RuneScape Legends (the short-lived RuneScape CCG). Hopefully, this tutorial will help me out because I'd LIKE to be at least decent at Gwent, especially given the cool (if a bit superficial) bonuses I got from owning Thronebreaker and Cyberpunk.

I searched all over for this info but it's very hard to come by, at least for current revision of the standalone game. Thanks! You assumed knowledge of a couple rules like that winner of a round starts next round but Google solved that for me. I wish you would have covered exact operation and sequence of the more complicated resurrection cards, like the monster egg one. When I have access to the game I'll come back and post a more precise question.
