@@Uzila1234just make sure there’s no spawn points around it. You would need to find all caves and cubbies and light it up/button it/or half slap it to prevent spawns. Which increases the time u would need to spend on this farm build. Over the ocean bypasses all that

Your material lists are way off. Especially the building blocks. 30 stacks total wasn’t enough. It was more like 50/60 stacks. And the trap doors were off as well

My very first Creeper Farm build , and I got to say it's one of the best Bedrock farms ever in history. I build 15 levels but stopped at 12 level and put torches on the rest of the levels . I went to sleep after I got off work and put myself in afk until I woke up to a almost full chest of stack Gunpowdes. Your a life saver... Now I can explore the End City for more Elytra's and awesome loot.

Bro mention that you are not playing on sim distance 4. People who are playing on 4 might build 15 levels and then find that nothing is spawning on rest of 9 platforms (as mobs don't spawn after 42 blocks from player on 4 sim distance )

I fixed it thank you it works great. For anyone having a hard time in realms i believe i set the simulation distance more than 4 when i created the world and you cannot change that setting in realms. I made it 100 blocks higher and its running great thanks for the farm

make sure your afk spot is AT LEAST 24 blocks from the center outside wall not 20!!!!!!! mine wasnt working then i moved 4 more blocks away and it started pumping. mobs will only spawn if they are at least 24 blocks away, the entire build including the drop zone and hoppers need to be within 128 blocks of your afk spot.

I’m not sure if the farm works very well in the newest version. I just spent like 25 minecarft days building it and it doesn’t seem to be dropping much. Also I think spiders are spawning in it more than creepers. Probably the new update messing up farms. Update: I got it working better. I replaced every other button with a trap door and did it diagonally on the other rows and spider no longer spawn

Zombies etc have a hit box of 2 block by placing trapdoors and buttons spawn point is 1.5 block and creepers hitbox is of 1.5 blocks

So i have an update on how things ended up going. After i was sure the farm worked i ended up adding 3 more layers to have four all together. Which im really happy i did becuase the creeper spawn rate has increased drastically!! Although there was a problem during the day time when the sun rose. The giant roof wasnt blocking out the light from the sides when the sun rose and set. So i ended up having to build a wall coming down from the edge of the roof to block the light coming in from the sides. Becuase the farm didnt start working full capacity until the sun was over head. But all and all this is a freaking fantastic farm! Thank you so much!!

Just built this shit 100% worth it just alot of grinding make sure u have more blocks than listed I recommend 50 stack of blocks took me 4 hours of building time and another 4/5 for materials 6/7 layers is the best way to go 2 stacks ph

I've built this twice a couple months apart and I can faithfully tell you guys that it does in fact work. Although, I feel like you don't get as much gunpowder as your supposed to within the said time period it does give you gunpowder. I've also noticed that it will spawn other mobs every now and then. As far as I'm aware only zombies and skeletons so make sure you're far enough away from it to not get the skeletons attention and make yourself a box to avoid phantoms knocking you down and drowning in water. Assuming you're making a fully built one it takes around 2 full double chests of whatever block you choose, about 30-35 stacks of logs, and when you build the top to keep out light build out on each side 14 blocks and then fill it in. I recommend getting help of a friend. I did it solo but it takes a minute.

EDIT: FIXED! So I did research and it CANNOT be built over a river. I checked on ChunkBase and plugged in my seed and we indeed built it over a river. Found an ocean about 2000 blocks away and built it there and it’s working!!! I’m also on a 2 player realm on Xbox. Hope this helps someone! Built this on my realm on Xbox and nothing is spawning. Did the buttons, trap doors and the slabs on top. Built 4 layers + the roof. Guessing my simulation distance is 4 because I didn’t change it. Lowered my render distance. It’s built partially over a river and a village, but everything in the village is dead and there are torches everywhere. Also build the farm about 150 blocks high. Seen a couple comments saying it won’t work over a river, why is that? Any help would be appreciated!

Do not build this in a river biome. It took me ages to figure out why I had no drops ph. After moving it to a plains biome (2/10 would not recommend) its pumping about 9 stacks ph.

I was looking for this in the comments, but no one has answered. It does feel like it slows down a lot during sunset, and sunrise. So, unless the sun is directly above the farm the light enters from the sides. JCplayz does enclose it in his farm which is basically the same as this one, but with enclosed walls and a trident killer instead of campfires. But i already spent so much time building this one... I guess sunset/sunrise only takes a minute or 2 so it's not that bad. but now i want to enclose it.... 😪😪

probably not… it’s all about being within render distance to the spawning platforms, otherwise creepers won’t spawn. I guess if you set up a killing chamber somewhere in the middle of two farms that are close enough together you could pull it off… usually better to just build more layers upwards

I built a considerably larger one than this and it gave me 3stacks of gunpowder/hr and 2stacks of string/hr And also some occasional bones and zombie flesh but those were negligible

The only way to make creepers spawn is if there is a roof because there needs to be a light level of zero, unless you do the roof if you encase it, it will not work

​@@KnixYT-125you don't need to extend the roof, it will keep the platforms dark all the way to ground level. You can add more layers but the farm won't realistically produce more due to the mob cap. You would spend way more time adding more layers than it's worth for the tiny amount of extra gunpowder it would produce

You could if you build in a corner of chunk border just like quad gold farms. But at the bottom you’ll have to run 4 water chambers to a kill and storage center

I think, you should Set 4 simulation distance

@@khairulamirin4688 You can't change simulation distance on a server, unless you own it I believe, so because this is on a server you will get a lot less spawns when other people are online but try to build 128 blocks above the surface (this includes mountains), or I believe if you spawn proof everything within a 128 block radius it would do the same to amplify spawn rates
